It's whatever. I thought I was still in it. I checked around noon today and only a few picks were up, I didn't really think I was gonna be up today. I'm on vacation with my family and I got on for a few seconds and by the time I got the PMs later on I was "kicked out". It's cool though, I'll live.

I really feel like Price is overrated and McCann is underrated.

 

I agree. But with picks on the end of the rounds, I had to reach a bit. I got a young stud lefty starter that can put up video game numbers in the AL East, and a likely top 2 catcher. I'd have taken Mccann even if Mauer was still available since he was 7 million cheaper, but that's just my preference. I may not have had the best 2 picks but I spent less money in my 2 picks than 5 teams did in their first pick.

 

I'm not trying to argue my team vs. anyone else's or anything, I'm just justifying reaching a bit.

I wouldn't go that far considering how cheap they are, but I understand your point. I highly doubt that either would have made it back to me though. In the end, in a 15 team league, I'll take it.

Not likely, but I wouldn't count it out. I think we've done a lot today, I wouldn't expect this many picks in a day often. I'd be happy if we averaged close to half of this a day for the rest of the draft.
