I agree, otherwise we could all pretty much predict what every pick was going to be for the first few rounds, outside of defense, which I doubt too many people directly factor that in either.

I'm extremely surprised about the outcome of this draft so far. Usually it starts off with an insane pitcher run that results in over half of the 1st round being pitchers

 

Currently I am in another league on another site with a 30 team MLB redraft in which about twenty of the first round picks were pitchers...which is why I would probably have taken Felix #1 if I had picked then

And for the record, I'm not very surprised with the outcome of this draft. Granted, I haven't been a part of a baseball redraft with a salary cap, but outside of a few picks which surprised me a little bit, I think that a lot of this is to be expected.

I was thinking about Gonzalez but I didn't want to blow pick #1 on an OF. Plenty more of them. That and his Coors/away from Coors splits aren't very good.

MLB is very pitcher-heavy right now. Great hitters are hard to come by in the post-steroid era.

Yes, the draft "snakes" so that it's fair to all teams, otherwise everyone would want to pick first because they'd pick first every round.

Really? Usually pitchers don't get pick first. Especially in fantasy.
