So let's see if I can do this right Gaypre....

No one likes you...No one has ever liked you...Everyone on this site has said before that they don't like you..Why don't you just leave?

I'm always the fastest person to draft. I'm not sure why you have Flynn in this draft...unless you want to wait the entire draft window for his pick

Don't get mad because Dipre doesn't want you in his league. To be honest I wouldn't want want you either. You complain about everything. Your IQ is equivalent to a peanut in sports. Dipre believe it or not is one of the most liked poster even if he does get into arguements with others(I've yet to encounter one). You're not even the fastest drafter so stop lying.

When was this? If I recall you were calling Dipre names and mentioned his mom because he wouldn't let you in his league. That shows how childish you really are. Just stop already. He said no so just move on and stop making a big scene.

I don't really think suns hindered the progress of the NFL draft. Sure, he complained a lot, but that's nothing more than mildly annoying, in my opinion. He usually made his picks in a timely fashion, and while he made some bad selections, he certainly wasn't alone in that category.

We are doing the redraft. Someone is bitching about it.

Shut the hell up and stop antagonizing. All of you. It's a FAKE DRAFT GAME not World War 2.

Its World War 2.

Talksox Edition

I'm not kidding. If this is how this is going to proceed there will be no more redrafts or anti-fantasy leagues on Talksox. We had enough drama with the simm leagues.

I can't speak for any other redrafts before I was here, but since I joined, the only one to complain about redrafts and that stuff is suns.

All i can say is that what i said initially wasn't meant as an insult, but because he's constantly complaining that he's getting "shafted" in every league he brings down how competitive the league is.

Then he went and flipped his s***. Nobody else has ever complained or fought on re-drafts or anti-fantasy leagues. You can read the other threads for proof.

I think that the waters are calm now. I'm personally ok with Suns being in the redraft as long as he puts a serious effort into it and doesn't flip out if his team is near the bottom. I will also give him credit because while he isn't as quick as I am, he is generally very good at making his picks in a timely fashion.

I think yesterday exploded because of random things that happened to Suns, combined with what looked like people ganging up on him. I think things are better at this point and that we can move on. Just take a deep breath and not take it personally.

(Except in the hot celebrity draft because then it's ALL personal) ;)

I'm down. Don't know if I like the salary cap part' date=' though. Requires too much math.[/quote']

It shows you know how to make a team instead of just drafting all of the best players. I think it's a good idea. I won't be doing this redraft so I really don't care what Dipre does lol.

We'll work out the kinks based on user input. We can always play with the cap figure. I'm also wondering whether or not to use 2010 salaries since we can't do 2011 salaries on a lot of players that are still FA's and haven't signed, and if we were going to do 2011 salaries, we'd have to start towards the beginning of the season when all contracts have been signed. Therefore, I think we should use 2010 numbers.

What happens if you miscalculate and you go over the cap? Throws a wrench into the whole thing.

I'd rather just draft based on talent and not have to crunch any numbers. I also don't want to compromise. If I want Player A and he's available, it's going to be kind of a buzzkill to have to settle for Player F because of a self-imposed salary cap.

In all fairness, as long as everyone uses the SAME salary website, then their shouldn't be a problem with people going over. In the NBA draft I think we had 2/12 teams go over, and one team only went over because he was going to trade another player to a different team to get under the salary cap. I just think that a salary cap makes it less boring, especially because we did a lengthy baseball redraft not too long ago (during the summer). I mean I'm ok with doing one without a cap, but does that mean that we'd have to do a few years in the future to introduce some sort of variable?

I like the salary cap idea, but if people aren't happy with it, i'd be glad to introduce some other variable to increase the challenge of the draft.
