First off' date=' we'd be delighted to have you. (And by we, i mean specifically me, since i don't represent anyone else's opinions, but you get my drift).[/quote']

Word

We will begin drafting Monday probably' date=' and after a trade period will be granted, with Power Rankings being created on a monthly basis to ultimately decide the seeds and then finally entering the matchups after the season is done.[/quote']

So is there no trading during the season? Or is there?

Ok, so for now we're going to make a draft order of 14 teams, we will pencil in RSFFL for YH, and in the event that YH wants to participate and RSFFL doesn't, then YH can have RSFFL's draft slot, and if they don't want to particpate, we can delete their slot entirely (and the rest of the people move up) and if they both do want to participate, we can add YH to the back end of the draft.

Keep in mind that you guys can trade players and draft slots, so if I get the first pick, and Dipre ends up in the middle, as long as we BOTH say that we want to switch spots, then Dipre can get the first slot and I'll pick in his former spot. Keep that in mind so you don't have to pick where Dipre draws your slot.

There is trading, but NOT during the baseball season. The trading period will be from between when the draft ends, to when the regular season starts. After the regular season starts the rosters will be locked. Maybe there can be an add/drop due to a serious injury, but there'd be no trades at that point.

You didnt put me in and i posted about a week ago that i would like to join

I know, I took you out because you said you weren't going to be able to do it because you weren't going to be here from December 30th to the 8th.

If while on vacation you can get online once in a while and make your picks, then we can fit you into the draft.

All right then, my apologies for jumping the gun, you're more than welcome to join and we'll add you. Just make sure you can check in once or twice a day on vacation (as much as you can when you aren't on vacation) and keep an eye out where the draft is at (who's turn it is) and when it would roughly be your turn.

In addition, if you aren't going to be available (and this applies to EVERYONE) you can feel free to send someone your ideal pick(s) in case your draft pick comes up while you're away. This will drastically save time in the drafting process. I myself have taken picks from almost every user I've done a redraft with. I will be making and updating a chart on the first post of the draft thread to show you which players have been taken.

Haha I have the last spot and I'm looking to trade up. ;)

Keep in mind that when trading slots, you're trading the slots FOR THE ENTIRE DRAFT. It's not like people are mixing and matching different slots for different rounds. So I'm in the last slot of the odd numbered rounds and first slot of the even rounds, while Will is the first pick in the odd numbered rounds and last pick of the even numbered rounds.

Also, it's generally better for the people that take awhile to pick (or don't get online as much) to pick towards the ends so that the can pick their picks together (or if we need to skip them we can move faster) whereas it's more important for the people in the center to be online often to speed up the process.

Just keep that in mind when you think about when you're drafting.

Yes. There's a DH. You don't have to draft a DH to be your DH though. For example, if you have Joe Mauer as your catcher and Brian Mccann is the best hitter available, you can select him and put him at DH.
