Interesting ... who do you think is the best pro prospect?

 

 

In terms of raw talent, it might actually be Williams, but in terms of potential and being a franchise player, I might go with Irving. Probably a personal preference. I do think that Sullinger at least deserves sleeper consideration. I also like Harrison Barnes, but I'd put him at the back of my top 5.

 

 

Edit: And keep in mind that Duke is the team that I hate the most in the NCAA.

Yeah, I like all those guys. Sullinger doesn't have the size, but I think a legitimate case could be made for the other three.

The one thing though is that while all of these guys are excellent on the offensive end, I think Williams is clearly the best defender of the bunch.

Haha well I can't agree with you there. I'm rooting for Duke because of my bracket and because I do like them (although not my favorite team).

Matt Howard is such a different player than he was at this time last year. Much smarter. If Butler had this version of Howard last year, they probably win it all.

I have Duke making the final four in my bracket (beating Uconn) but I'd still want AZ to win here, even if it does mess up my bracket, getting Duke out now will benefit me more.

I really hope the Wizards can get Williams, he has been a monster in this game and keeps impressing me more and more and looks like he is going to be a good NBA player.

Exactly, even if it would f*** up my bracket, I'd have Duke lose in the first round if I could. Florida and Syracuse as well, but especially Duke.

Okay, now I can comfortably say its over. Arizona is playing extremely well, this is probably best basketball I've seen any team in college play all year long. What a performance. Arizona/UCONN should be a really good game.

 

Meanwhile, Wisconsin is having all kinds of trouble scoring, they've scored 5 points in the past 15 minutes of game time. Butler is up by 18

Terrence Jones at #11, Alec Burks at 15 (in my mocks)- both will be lottery picks, in my opinion.

 

Burks is interesting. This draft is very, very shallow at the wing position, and Burks stands out to me with his shot-creating skills and scoring instincts. If he can convince a team that his long-range shooting won't be too much of an issue in the NBA, he'll be a popular name
