Kentucky is much closer and I'm sure that a big time program like Kentucky has a lot more fans than a small market team like Uconn. Kentucky would have to be one of the most popular teams out there.

According to the CBS brackets on facebook (which aren't the be all and end all, but they seem reasonably accurate) Kentucky has the 5th most amount of fans, and Uconn has the 12th most amount of fans. Kentucky is also the 7th most hated team and Uconn is the 14th most hated team.

Suns, remember when on the CBS bracket app you could select the team you like the most and the team you hate the most? On that page (if you click on the "team" tab) it'll list the teams by conference with the number of people that selected that team as their favourite. You can also click on "Rankings" to have the teams ranked in terms of the "most liked" and "most hated"

It's obviously not complete and a factual indicator of a team's fanbase, but it's reasonably accurate. Granted, I only have 5-6 of my friends as Uconn fans, when I can name hundreds, so it's obviously not to scale, but I'd imagine that the ranks would still be about the same.

Butler needs to regain control of the pace in this one. They had it early, but VCU's press took them out of a rhythm.

I know it has been said a million times, but this game will be decided by Butler's ability to force VCU to play inside the arc on offense. If they can do that, they win.

We played too weak in the first half.

I'm a kentucky basketball fan I don't take moral victories

We have a great recruiting class next year. Hopefully Jones and Knight and Lamb will come back.

I know for a fact we could have won this game but we didn't. Free throws and that missed goaltending call is what it came down to.

This one hurts really bad

I just realized, if Uconn wins against Butler and the lady Huskies beat Notre Dame, they could both win the title. Last time they did that was when the mens for Emeka Okafor and Ben Gordon and the women's had Diana Taurasi. (SP)

For once, I think that the Uconn men will have an easier time at winning the title than the Uconn women. Notre Dame isn't too hard (they are a good team, but Uconn has beaten them 3 times this year already) but Uconn might have nightmares going into a matchup vs. Stanford, since Stanford is the team on both sides of Uconn's 90 game winning streak. If Uconn was a bit deeper (their star freshmen PF recruit didn't transfer, and their star shooter didn't tear her ACL for the 3rd time) then I'd say that Uconn wins, but I honestly think that Stanford wins the women's title. I had Stanford over Uconn in my women's bracket.

That said, I'd trade a Uconn women's title for a Uconn men's title anyday of the week.

Lamb will come back. Liggins is a junior, hopefully he will come back. Miller is back. I think Knight wants his degree, you know he is already academically a junior. Jones is probably gone.
