I like the new offensive style of ND, but Crist just isnt as good as Clausen. Lots of passes off target and the INT down at the 10 yd line that started MSUs TD drive was inexcuseable

the play clock said 00 for a god second at least. There should have never been a play. Kudos to MS Head coach for having the balls to call it. I love that the name of the play was "Little Giants"

How long will it take to get Notre Lame out of the national spotlight? There's nothing compelling about them at this point, and they play a schedule filled with uninteresting opponents.

 

The next three weeks should be interesting for 'Bama. At #12 Arkansas on 9/25, home against #10 Florida on 10/2, at #13 South Carolina on 10/9. If they can clear the slate through those 3 games, I think they'd have a legit case to be a 1 loss team (should they lose one later in the year) that gets in over an undefeated Boise State at the end of the year.

No, arizona will. USC will beat ORE in LA, but lose to ORE ST in Corvalis.

I fully believe Alabama's toughest game of the year will be next week @ Arkansas. I could see the Hogs winning actually. I'm picking Bama, but I won't be surprised at all if they lose.

They seem to have a highly nationally ranked team about every 5 yrs that always fails at the end of the yr. When they go a decade without a contending team, then their contract may not be renewed. But you need to remember, their advertising and tradition gained them a ton of fans that had no link to the college itself. It would take a long run of s*** to drop enough fans to make their national coverage moot. And with the way Kelly has the offense, my guess is that next season, they'll be back in the national spotlight

It's been a decade, or longer, since they've had a legit national contender. Yes, they been ranked high before, but they've been exposed every time they get a high ranking. Enough already.
