Jason Varitek who turns 38 on Sunday, is 2 for 10 against Greinke. Both of them are homers. Varitek has homered in 13 seasons. Only Carl Yastrzemski (23), Dwight Evans (19), Ted Williams (19), Jim Rice (16) and Bobby Doerr (14) have homered in more seasons for the Sox.

Might be a whitewash. If Meche isnt back to his old self with his 94mph heater and that knee-buckling curve, the game might be over by the 3rd. Will be interesting to see what Buch will bring to the table
