Buch could take a lesson from CC and Burnett. Throwing 95 or 96 is nice' date=' but if you cannot locate, then it's useless. Maybe if he dialed it down to 91-92, but located, he might be better off[/quote']

Yea, cause A.J. f***ing Burnett is on the cover of the book on how to be the best pitcher you can be. Jackass.

From the same company that gave you "Manliness Tips from A-rod" and "Wearing the Pants in your Relationship by Mark Teixeira", Money Does By Championships Publishing Company presents:

"Longevity: How to Stay on the Field by AJ Burnett and Nick Johnson"

You aren't being objective as usual. Burnett started pitching like a horse once he dialed back the velocity. But you can continue thinking I am wrong if u like.

Farns never learned that lesson

That's the point. Farnsworth and Burnett could show Buchholz what happens if you throw 95-97 right down the middle, or in the opposite batter's box. Whether it's learning the lesson by watching it being done properly, or learning the lesson by watching what happens when it's not done properly, Farnsworth and Burnett can still teach Buchholz.

That's inadvertantly the funniest thing ever said on the board today.

Listening to the game on my iPhone and watching y'all talk about it instead of writing my paper doesn't count as procrastination, I've decided. It counts as "doing something better".

I don't know who and/or what broadcast I'm listening to, but in an earlier inning the announcer was talking about Beltre's body in a manner that made me wonder if I should turn it off, and give the man some privacy..... It was weird, and solidifies my belief that watching is much much better than listening!

I'm objective. Buchholz needs to have better control of his FB if he's ever gonna realize his potential. But I'll be damned if I'll go along with your stupid assertions about taking notes from A.J. Burnett as if he's Nolan Ryan.

My patience for Ortiz is drastically reducing every game.

And for Spudboy:

Wholly f***ing s***! The tightest group since early seventies Allman Brothers.

Thank you 101!

Buchholz needs to take notes from Curt Schilling. Schill knows everything Buchholz needs to learn.

Just good old classic Oscar Peterson. Just about all his Trios and Quartets were the tightest swing you'll ever hear, especially with NHOP on bass.

If you really want to see something crazy, check out his Trio's take on "Caravan" feature NHOP on bass:

It's INSANE.

*sigh*

Ramon, I don't suppose we an coax some outs out of you BEFORE the implosion? Would be nice.

EDIT: Guess not.

All we need from Schoeneweis is one out. If you're not going to bring Paps in for the 5 out save here, you'll never do it.
