I think you should watch it, I watched it last year when everyone knew my team wasn't going to the NCAAs.

I think I'm just going to go to sleep and maybe skip the selection show. I really don't care anymore.

That's why I'm happy that Uconn f***** themselves out of the tourney weeks ago, so that way there's no drama anymore and I've already moved on. I couldn't care less about men's basketball anymore. Heck, I'm not even filling out a bracket. The only think I could possibly care about is rooting against a few teams to win it all.

Your team sucked last year and didn't deserve to get in.

Mississippi State deserves to make this tournament and won't most likely. There's a difference, and it's a shame.

Everyone in the big blue nation thinks you should get in if you played us that good.

We took yall to OT twice, barely coming up short both times.

Unfortunately it doesn't matter what any of us know is right. The NCAA thinks otherwise.

Mississippi State has already headed home. They aren't even bothering sticking around for the selection show as they pretty much know the NCAA is going to ream them.

MSU has only 2 top 50 wins and 15 of their 23 are against teams with a sub 100 RPI.

Sorry, but I don't think they're a tourney team.

Then how can you justify teams like Florida and Utah State getting in over us? The NCAA is a joke. Did you watch the SEC tournament? Our play over the last 3 days alone should've shown people we deserved a spot.

I saw this s*** coming a mile away, but still, it hurts. Florida getting in over State is laughable though. Awful, awful, awful job by the selection committee.

I've tweaked mine to Gtown, Cuse, WV, and Duke, with WV beating Cuse in the NC.

I liked Louisville at first, but that was simply a shot in the dark, improbable pick.

I haven't had a chance to look at the bracket in any kind of depth yet.

Will make one of my epic, long winded posts once I do.

I know you're all psyched.

I really am.

How the he11 did Florida get in? That is a disgrace!

The SEC happens to have a s***** commissioner who pimps his favorite teams and leaves the rest in the dark.

Not that it matters now, but I still think it's a disgrace that Florida got in (same with Utah State) and Mississippi State got left out. We are two screwjobs away from beating Kentucky. Only needed one to get us in. Sigh.

I haven't really looked at the bracket much yet either. Probably will tomorrow.

Illinois got completely screwed out of the tournament. Illinois lost to Ohio State in double overtime and didn't make it but Minnesota made it and lost to Ohio State by 30.

Minnesota also destroyed Purdue.

Agreed. I don't like that Minnesota got in after getting their doors blown off like that, and Illinois (who I think was better than Minnesota anyway) stays at home. Meanwhile we lose by ONE in OT against the #2 team in the nation and are sitting at home as well.

The selection committee sucked ass this year. The past several years I thought they had done a fairly solid job, but they really jacked this one up in more ways than one (seeding).

Purdue is still a good team, but nothing close to what they were with Hummel. I'm not even sure they're going to get out of the first round.

To be honest, I doubt that Mississippi State was the team that got screwed over the worst by the committee. In other words, I don't think that Mississippi State was the best team that got left out of the tournament. I'd look at Virginia Tech and Illinois and then MSU.

MSU didn't have a tournament resume. Plain and simple.

-They played three nonconference road games (2-1, one win was over a tourney team - Houston, who barely squeaked in by winning their conference)

-3-6 vs. tournament teams (beat Houston, Old Dominion, and Vandy).

-Their two signature games were losses to Kentucky. They had no signature wins.

That is definitely not a tournament team there.

Florida played a much better nonconference schedule, and was 3-4 vs tourney teams (beat FSU, Mich. State, and Tennessee - all at-large bids).

Not entirely true. Mississippi State beat both Florida and Vanderbilt in the SEC Tournament -- those games do count and definitely have to be taken into consideration, which gives Mississippi State the edge in my book.
