Yeah I just looked that up. My excuse is that the save rule sucks. Why does a long reliever on mop up duty who goes 3 IP with a 10 run lead get a save?

 

cause the rule sucks. really do a lot of long relievers go three innings to close out a game. it is a stupid rule.
