Wait, McCarver, you are saying that Melky knew more than the 3rd base coach on that play? When the 3rd base coach has the entire game in front of him? Oh, and Melky would have been dead with a good throw. God, can they just euthanize McCarver already?

What would they do? Exactly what they do when a runner doesnt touch a base. Step off and throw the ball to that base.

Is that applicable at home plate? I've never seen it done before.

BTW, CC needs to learn how to f***ing bunt. What a joke

Too bad he can't pitch either. oh wait, he can.

Werth was essentially throwing from the edge of the grass. It's a 140 foot throw or so, easy as pie. He just missed it by a mile.

Also, CC might be able to give us only 6 tonight. We better get Joba and then Robertson ready. I dont know if Hughes can be counted on anymore since he lost location of his fastball

I have a question for my Yankee Fan friends.

Given that you are not enamored with Giaradi. What do you think of Tony Pena?

Can you see him managing?

One thing I really didnt like about Pena was that he quit on his team in KC. In NY, you need to be tough and that is one thing Girardi is. He's a tough guy. But if you have a guy who just gave up on a team in the friendly confines of Kauffman stadium, then imagine how he will be portrayed in NY when times are tough?
