Papi hits a dinger, and he's back. Or what? Maybe he has to be reminded to eat his spinach. Any explanation about where Ellsbury is?

he's on the bench somewhere' date=' "resting"[/quote']He needs a nappy nap. His sleep is more important than one game, and there is always next year. We wouldn't want to tire him out . These young kids are our future.

Shut the f*** up about Ellsbury getting a night off. God forbid the kid gets a breather every now and then.

I'm fine with him getting a breather, but in a pivital series against their best pitcher when our best hitter is out on a suspension? Find a better time.

Exactly. For pete's sake people, no matter how the season is going people need days off, and for a speedster, the first night in Texas is probably a good time.

It was no biggie last year when we had Coco Crisp to put out there, but all we have is this kid who should be in the minors. I guess Theo is soooo busy making impact SS pickups off the waiver wire that he hasn't looked for an OFer.

Players don't just need rest when it's convenient for them to need rest.

If we were playing a game against a weak opponent and Ellsbury took a personal day you'd call him out for resting when we had a chance to pull ahead.

We need to be able to trust our reserves. If we can't we don't deserve to be a playoff team anyway.

Unfortunately, we don't have OF depth. Rocco is glass and we only have not-ready minor leaguers behind him.
