I agree, not bc I dont think he wont be good, but we are talking about a proven CY Young winner. A move that will make us the team to beat for the next two years at least. Who knows how good Buch will be but we know what we are getting with Halladay. I say it was an average start tonight for him. Made some good pitches but threw way to many to a poor lineup.

With the economy in a free fall, the Red Sox will be able to find a lot of bargains in the outfield for a couple of years. They can afford to spend more on the rotation.
