******** you aren't being biased. 4 baserunners in 4 innings isn't tap-dancing through anything. Yeah, he faced Mauer with a RISP, what was the result.

Just admit what you were doing, it's what you do every day here. You are trying to piss in the punch bowl. You deny the merits, whether they be in talent or trade value, for any and every Sox player. You post daily rimjob reports on Yankee successes, and if they aren't at the MLB level, well then you make sure you find the daily Scrubby McNobody that had a good game in the minors. It's pathetic. Not that you like your team and want them to do well or ours to do bad, that's what's expected, but that you apparently only find satisfaction in being a pill.

not to say that I called it, but yeah, well, you get the idea.

This lineup is a f***ing joke

too many holes right now. god help us if 1 of our stars goes down (Pedroia, Youk, Bay, Drew, Ellsbury) because we have NOTHING to replace them with. And yes, I called Drew and Ellsbury stars.....bc compared to what will replace them, they are stars.

A bad inning of 4 or 5 runs every game will result in a bad year. Bucholz had blow up innings last year and the stuck with him until he was 2-9 and ruined the team's divisional chances. After today, he'll be 3-5 with 6.07 ERA. If this continues, maybe they should consider sending Lester to the Bullpen when Smoltz is ready or when Bucholz is promoted.

Does anyone have an idea of what could have happened to him since last year?
Probably nothing happened to him. The opposing batters have adjusted to his stuff and they are making him pay for his mistakes.

they had a really good stat at the beginning of the game. Lester is allowing a .467BAA on the first pitch. Last yr, it was .267. Teams are figuring out why he was so successful last yr. Remember, the yrs before, he would get behind hitters and then end up with a good amount of walks and high pitch counts early. Last yr, he started putting cookies up there on the first pitch and teams waited on him, allowing him to get ahead. Now, they are jumping on it. Forcing him to nibble and getting him into deeper counts and more baserunners.
