What you said is' date=' on top of being pretty much indisputable, its something that you could only have known by actually [i']watching the game[/i]. And you said it in response to someone who uses 'watch the games' as his primary argument... ironic.

What could I have only known by watching the game?

Dude...I travelled over 800 miles to watch the Yankees lose twice in Baltimore. Not fun.

Did Joba pump his fist when he K'd Zaun to end the 3-run 1st?

No, but Huff did when he hit his home run. Take a look at the replay if you haven't already seen it. It's worth it.

yep, he's on pace to hit a lot of homeruns, He'll cool down though. I suspect he's doing so well since its his FA year, I expect him to end with around 30 homers.

Johnny Damon has been absolutely clutch for us this yr. The offense once again had a tough time with Uehara. Seems like we are susceptible to junkballing strike throwers. Joba tapdanced through machine gun fire once again yet was pretty solid after inning #1. Eiland needs to figure that s*** out quick. Joba throwing 87mph in the first inning is inexcuseable. Then he's throwing 96 from the second inning on. But, after all, he really is a rookie starting pitcher and there will be growing pains no matter how dominant his stuff is. Coke was the MVP of tonight's game, IMO. He inherits a lead and just rifles through the heart of the Oriole order like they werent even there. He's sliding into that setup position nicely. Now if only someone could join him in being useful out of the pen, we might actually be able to hold more leads. Mariano was Mariano. And there we had it. I like what I am seeing out of Cervelli. He doesnt have much power, but he hustles, he plays good D and he has his head in the game. Seems like Molina is gonna be out longer than Posada, so this kid is gonna need to grow up quickly. Overall, good win. 2 of 3 from the O's and now we go to Toronto with our 3 vets throwing. Not a bad way to get back up off the deck after getting our asses kicked.

Haha this was awsome, he's my new favorite player who's not on the Sox.

that was classic, a fist pump at Joba when he's rounding first and another fist pump as he's crossing home. im surprised Joba didnt plunk him after

In his next at-bat Huff was up with a man on first and one out, and Dave Eiland came running out to the mound to speak to Joba. My guess is that Eiland told him not to do it. With that being said, and I know you guys probably won't put any stock into this, Joba said it didn't bother him.

I have no problem with players celebrating. Papelbon does it after the end of every game. Joba does it. I don't see the problem with it.

End of game celebration makes sense. Joba does it with every strikeouts.

I don't think anyone has a problem with the act of celebration, but it is worthy of ridicule when you are celebrating a personal achievement during a game in which you are losing in part because of how you performed an inning or two earlier. This is exactly what happend in NY against Boston, and now he's getting his earned response from other players. He made this s*** sandwich, now he has to eat it.

Not really ORS. He's getting himself pumped up. It was like when Manny watched homers from home plate when the Sox were losing. Some players just do it, period.

So you don't think his display last week was embarrassing in the least?
