Every year with the exceptions of their title years they put the best fantasy team on the field that money can buy...What the world seems to forget it eventually it comes down to guys like Phil Coke or Javier Lopez to get the big out and it takes the Cody Ransomes or Rocco Baldelli's to get the big hit.

It dont matter what your payroll is.

From time to time the game will be in the hands of some obscure f*** who makes the league minimum and over the past several years NY's role players simply dont have the goods to win.

yea' date=' the Yankees snuck that announcement in right after the Manny news yesterday[/quote']

Lol, this made me laugh.

The Yankees have been basically saying the entire week that he is going to be back friday (without completely committing to it).

Exactly what we needed. ARod gets one big hit. CC was unhittable tonight. Still had some boneheaded plays that we need to improve on, but overall, a pretty good night to be a yankee. Need more of these games.

Jacko..did you watch the game? This ump had a wider strikezone than DipreG's mother.

Maybe, however, this is what they needed to get untracked.

Stop being delusional. The strikezone was fine. CC was locating the heat in, was throwing the change for strikes and had the back foot slider working on righties tonight. Nobody was hitting him.

The strike zone was fine? Did you watch it or gamecast it?

Brian Roberts says hi.

Wrong.

Jacko has just changed Brian Robert's name to Brian Nobody, therefore, Nobody was hitting him.

(I know it's a lame joke, but i just couldn't resist.)

An Odysseus reference. Is that a first?

This victory was tainted because of the ARod HR

Damn, and the only other run driven in was by Johnny Damon, who may or may not have taken steroids at some point. Might as well have been 0-0...

The strikezone was inconsistent, but Sabathia was locating much better than he had been. Baltimore's lineup is no joke. This is the start they needed out of him.

According to my count CC received 4 gift strikes and got 6 strikes taken away. Looks like the umpire actually hurt him tonight...

Why?

Because he's a piece of s*** prima-dona pretty boy cheater and liar. f*** him. He's lucky he hit that Home Run today otherwise m feelings towards him would be worse.

Yeah, wow. I just made the mistake of countering something Gom said with proof...

How stupid.

He is incredibly important to the Yankees success, more so than any other Yankee.

What you said is, on top of being pretty much indisputable, its something that you could only have known by actually watching the game. And you said it in response to someone who uses 'watch the games' as his primary argument... ironic.
