Yeah this has been a great game' date=' [b']but Bama is going to need a stop. [/brilliant analysis][/b]

Thanks, John Madden.

Florida's going to put it away here. Keep it in Tebow's hands.

HUUUUGE penalty on the Florida coaching staff unless they get it in the endzone. And they did.

And they didn't stop them' date=' which is bad because it means points are scored by the other team. Brett Favre?[/quote']

By the way, I rented Blitz the League 2... and for the commentary they have Frank Caliendo as John Madden (he really is f***ing everywhere)... and it's actually pretty funny, though I now hate Caliendo after all those commercials.

Not to take anything away from Tebow, because he's clearly very good and all, but Danielson needs to calm down. He's not dominating a game like Vince Young did in college.

That said, that was a pretty impressive performance by the Gators when you consider Harvin was on the sideline.

They should. Even if Oklahoma settles for a FG on this opening drive, it's hard to imagine Missouri stopping Oklahoma in this game...

Holy s***... he almost hit the crossbar on a 19 yard kick.

Texas doesn't have a legitimate argument.

Texas Tech beat Texas, yet Texas gets to play in a BCS Bowl Game. That arguments just as legitimate as the Texas/Oklahoma one.

It's a three way tie and the head to head argument is completely eliminated because it eliminates all teams -- how can Texas use it?

Everyone who makes a case for Texas fogets this. I think it has something to do with program resume. TTU isn't a big name like Oklahoma and Texas, so they get swept under the rug.

Fair enough....it sucks without a playoff because I would love to see USC in the mix....i don't think either of these teams wants any part of USC right now.

Yeah, but a playoff opens the door to USC having to face one of the two SEC teams, which I think is a bad matchup for them. They dominated the Pac 10 with their speed, but they'd lose that advantage against the SEC teams, and I think both SEC teams are more physical on top of being equal or better in speed.

anyone see stoops record in bcs action?

sucking hind tit would be a step up, they lost to wva and boise, 2 teams that were fun but really not that good and they got annilihated by usc in their last title game.

are they better now than then?

i really dont know, florida scores on teams that play defense,ou didnt have to play a lot of defense this year and they blew a double digit lead on texas, their special teams coverage has sucked all season as well..I think florida has enuff speed and muscle up front to put a little pressure on bradford, something that hasnt been done all year and the sooners dont seem capable of stopping these guys.

oklahoma needs to do their thing and get on top early to have a chance, i think florida eats these guys up despite o/u scoring 60 a game since texas beat them.

I don't look too far into Stoops' BCS record.

When USC shows up to play, they destroy even ranked teams -- and that particular USC team was stacked. I have to think there's some sort of let down in having to play Boise State and West Virginia in the Fiesta Bowl when you're one of the favorites to win the National Championship every year. Oklahoma will be fine.

Florida tore through the SEC -- but this is a very down year for the SEC. Their win over LSU doesn't look all that impressive anymore, their win over Georgia doesn't look as impressive anymore, Florida State's not so great. I think playing in the SEC also skews their defensive numbers a bit, since there's no real great offenses in the SEC -- meanwhile Oklahoma played in a conference that had five of the top ten offenses. And that Oklahoma offensive line is the best in the country, they won't touch Bradford.

Oklahoma is easily the best offense I've ever seen. They lack a bit on the defensive side, but with a month to gameplan, they should be well enough on that side.

Should be a great game either way. I'll be in Florida for it, fortunately, so that should be some fun.

I agree, Crunch. I've been unimpressed with Big 12 defenses all year long. Florida scored 30 or more in every conference game in the best defensive conference in football. They've got like 5 guys who can take it to the house if you get them the ball in the open field, and a Heisman winning QB playing in a system that does just that. I think Florida scores easily against OU. If OU can score 50, which I seriously doubt, I think they'll need every point.

Not sure you can go wrong picking the Heisman winner tonight. I'm torn between Tebow and Bradford -- but wouldn't mind seeing any of the three win. I'm leaning Bradford, though.

I think Graham Harrell should've gotten an invite, and would also be a deserving winner.

edit: Sam Bradford wins it!

... huh? He was 5-19 in two seasons at Iowa State' date=' and managed to go 0-8 in the Big XII this year despite not playing Oklahoma, Texas, or Texas Tech. What the f*** was Auburn thinking?[/quote']

Yeah, um, good call Auburn! Seriously. How do you get a promotion after going 5-19 in 2 years?!? How can they justify that? Consider me miffed.

Glad Sam Bradford won. He deserved it. Now Texas people will be whining about not only missing out in the title game, but the Heisman too. Haha.

CSU RB was straight dominant. 285 yards rushing' date=' 90 yards receiving... good win for CSU![/quote']

On Yahoo I think something like 8% of the people picked Colorado State. Thankfully I'm part of that 8%.

Yeah, I didn't do any of the Bowl Game Pick'ems. but I'd have picked CSU as well. They're both middle of the road teams in their conference... CSU comes from the better conference.

Why didn't you make any picks? It's fun to keep up with.

I never was impressed with Fresno State this year, and Colorado State wasn't bad. They also hung tough with BYU and TCU and nearly won those games.
