Honestly they deserve the credit. They are playing great baseball....however, it's July 2nd. This stadium is acting like it's October and they are on a crazy high. Meanwhile our bullpen is going through some real issues (mid-season) and David Ortiz is out.....in Boston with a healthy rolling Red Sox team I think we are singing a different tune.

The Rangers' genius manager put a kid in to protect the 1 run lead in Yankee stadium. It was his major league debut. What chance did that have of working out for the Rangers. The kid was having a heart attack while he was taking his warm ups.

So I just finished cleaning up the vomit my 8-year-old tossed all over the kids' bathroom during the bottom of the 7th. How apropos, her sense of timing was typically classic.

 

From what I can tell, when my wife took the kids to the movies earlier she had M&Ms, Swedish fish, a ton of popcorn, and something with colored sprinkles on it.

 

I need to call Tito and try to get her in the pen, she obviously can blow chow with the best of our relievers.
