Now, I know that there will be some who will post things like, "Winning the World Series, DUH!" Obviously, I'm looking for more than that. Let's hear about moments that were great, funny, awesome, or memorable for you for whatever reason (maybe even because of something that was going on while you were watching the game? Let's keep it clean, folks ;))

I have two that I want to include.

The first was when Joba "The Hutt" Chaimberlain launched two missiles over Youk's head and then looked like Frank Caliendo doing a Richard Nixon impression when he got the boot.

The second, is Bobby Kielty's home run in Game 4 of the WS. First, because we ended up needing it to win. But mostly because I like Kielty, I was happy when he came to the Sox, and we're so used to Papi and Manny hitting big jacks, it was really cool the have Tito bring in the pitch hitter (which is related to that whole "you guys gotta play in the NL park and your pitcher has to hit blah, blah, blah..." thing) who send the game winning homer out on the first pitch! How freakin' cool was that?!?

Feel good: Lester's triumphant return

Look what we get next year: C Buck's no-no

Holy smokes: The creation of a new term, as in, "Damn, that dude got Chase Wrighted" with the back-to-back-to-back-to-back

- The April sweep of New York including the Back to Back to Back to Back home runs.

- Winning the Mother's Day Game.

- The Pizza pitching Prospect from the leftfield bleachers.

- (Not Sox Related) Craig Biggio's 3,000th career hit.

- Buchholz's no-no.

- Schilling's 1-hitter.

- Hinske plowing into Posada.

- Sweeping the Angels right out the ALDS.

- Departing the Guardians from the ALCS in 7.

- Welcoming the Rockies to the World Series in a sweeping manner.

But the best moment of all, being able to share these moments with everyone on here.

A few moments that stick out, outside of everything that's happened the past 2 weeks:

-The back-to-back-to-back-to-back homers against the Yankees in April. Especially nice for me since I had had prom the night before, and my date and I got into a huge fight, so this game was kind of a pick-me-up.

-Schilling's near-no hitter in Oakland. Yea, it was a little anti-climactic, but still a memorable game.

-Bucholz's no hitter. Obvious reasons.

Forgot about the Hinske-Posada game. That was a good one.

As for the other part of your comment, I couldn't agree more.

One that may go unnoticed, but AUG. 14th, after getting owned by Kazmir (again) and trailing 1-0 in the 9th, Mike Lowell hits one off Reyes over the monster to tie it up. This was during one of those stretches where it seemed the offense was dead, awesome to see something finally give.

I was at the Hinske Posada game. Huge moment.

For me my big three were the Pedroia HR in game 7 LCS, Buchholz's No-No and the back to back to back to back.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Okajima in WS Game 2. He was pretty amazing.

Two in my mind. Buchholz's no hitter because I was there.

The second shouldn't be a surprise at all to anyone who has read my posts this season. The best moment of the year for me was JD Drew's Grand Slam in Game 6 of the ALCS. I'm probably the biggest Drew fanboy on this board. The amount of crap that he had to deal with all season, both on the field and off, had to have made that so sweet for him. As much as he struggled this season (there's no denying that), the manner in which he conducted himself should be lauded. He's a quiet professional, comes to work every day, and never gets too high or too low. He's not like Youkilis, who wears his emotions on his sleeve. He's like Jason Varitek, a real professional. I know not many people like him because of his injury history and/or the fact he doesn't look like he cares (if you listen to his interviews you can tell he cares, and how much this season sucked for him); or maybe it's because he replaced everyone's favorite dirt dog. Whatever the reason may be, the venom that was directed at Drew this season was at times embarrassing and unnecessary.

One last one - Wakefield's interview with DO on Sunday and what Timlin said about Wake. Pure class.

Everything here mentioned was great and I totally agree.

1 of my favorite plays this season was the one where Ellsbury scored from 2nd on the past ball, that was just and exciting play. So exciting it made me attempt a steal of home plate in my next baseball game... I was safe!:D

Meh...I was 11 when my friends came over and raided the liquor cabinet. My buddy was wharfing in the front yard. I told my parents the dog must have did it. We didn't own a dog. Good times. :dunno:

There has to be a story behind this.

Love it.

I went and got mine yesterday. Was surprisingly quite crowded for down here.

in terms of overall excitement, probably a tie between Buchholz's no hitter and the back-to-back-to-back-to-back homers. I got pretty jacked about Manny's walk-off vs. the Angels in Game 2 though
