agree. Kinda like Bernie in his prime. His speed made up for his bad jumps. But those jumps cost him at times.

Great point.

Think of Coco like Bernie Williams in the 90's. (Pierre is too fast)

Coco plays a bad CF. Ok sure... If Coco plays a bad CF' date=' then there must be some supermen playing MLB CF. Coco is at least a bit above average.[/quote']

Proof? Please, I'm begging you to prove me wrong.

Dusty has ripped couple of balls, but right at these sure handed A's fielders. A platoon is likely to continue with Cora. Although being stuck in a platoon might harpen him trying to break in what he is capable of doing.

As much as I love Okajima pitching the 8th' date=' I dont want him to become the next Tom Gordon (overworked by the end of the season). He has been worked a lot these past couple of weeks[/quote']

I guess the thinking is he won't be this hot all season, might as well take advantage now

and a lot of baseball people think that he will eventually get figured out because he has a deceptive motion. The more you rely on him, the more you show of him, the more the novelty starts to wear.

And that is what the Sox should be ready for. At least start start mixing in Donnelly, he's only been used for 6 innings, regardless that he's been very effective in that short sampling

how the f*** does Okajima pitch while looking at the ground? Thats insane

I remember saying how the #37 is cursed for Sox relievers after the first batter he faced, god I feel like an idiot now

and consider the team. The A's suck' date=' and so long as Scutaro doesnt come to the dish, you all should be fine.[/quote']

Very true. Once we start facing good lineups, the bullpen should crumble.

I dont think that. So long as your rotation gives innings, your pen will be fresh. But the A's are a different level of pathetic on offense. And you are home. If you are on the road, then go for the kill. At home, you can be a little more passive.

easy there cowboy.

alright alright, I may be getting a little ahead of myself but his stuff is nasty...

Posted
why not? he did a pretty good job against your boys

he could be a very good reliever. But his stuff is suspect. Scouts are a mixed bag on him. Half think it is deception and the league will catch up. The other portion think it is his secondary stuff. Either way, he has done very well for now. But a closer is not a soft tossing lefty.
