The Yankees are gonna get swept. The Yankees are gonna get swept. Theres a new force in NY and it ain't the Yankees. Go Mets!

You should really change your name to Dr. Jacko

Game over.

Clippard looked confident. His scouting report was spot on. Very good location of his pitches, keeps the ball off the meat of the bat, and pitches backwards with 2 different breaking balls and a very solid changeup. Struck out 6 in 6IP keeping with his strikeout capability.

And a700, if you want an Arroyo comparison, this is your guy.

thanks buddy.

Went back up to school on Wednesday. Drank from Wed. night to last night, graduated today, came home. Now I am back. And we are sucking overall.

Congrats. Good luck on your future endeavors.

BTW, does that mean you can prescribe anything?

not until I get my DEA number, which comes once my license application is finalized (the gov't is slow to respond). And even so, I believe I need certain clearances for some things. I will always use my priviledge with the strictest of judgement though.

What the hell was with him falling to third base sometimes, and first base other times?

In any case, Clippard was very good. Threw strikes, had good command of the breaking ball and got through the game pretty economically.

Like I said yesterday, they're showing signs of life. This series against Boston is huge, and I think the Yankees will take at least 2 of 3. The pitching is definitely working in our favor.

I believe it's going Wang-Mussina-Pettitte, so he would be facing Tavarez. I'm assuming the Sox are continuing their normal rotation. Since Wake is pitching tomorrow, it would go Wakefield-Tavarez-Schilling.

Wakefield vs Wang is a toss up. Wakefield has had some good/some bad games against New York, while Wang has faced Boston with mostly less than impressing results. Tavarez vs Mussina should be a win for New York but thats what everyone said about him vs Wang. Schilling vs Pettitte is a rematch of a good pitchers duel

Congrats Jacko. My brother just got his results for the USMLE step one, and if the amount of studying he had to do is any indication of what you had to go through, you earned it.

Well, I will be at the game today, and if any of you are in New York, I have an extra if you guys want it.
