They both do better? That makes no sense. If both are getting better, how can you tell? Not only that, but it's totally untrue. The pitcher is proactive to the hitter's reactive. The advantage is all with the pitcher in a first time meeting. Every player is scouted so hitters' and pitchers' know the weaknesses, but the hitter has to get used to the pitchers' delivery and release.

I can hardly comment on that because those are regarding two entirely seperate points.

 

1) The part about the Dodgers making the playoffs was in reference to Hoke stating the Dodgers were a shithole of a team compared to his Sox who DIDN't make the playoffs.

 

2) The part about the Giants constantly bragging about beating LA with no championships to show for it was in comparison to the Red Sox. No one constantly brags abotu the Dodgers' playoff record. I brought it up once in response to one of the stupidest remarks I have ever read here.

Plus, I almost feel like the rivalry between the yankees and sox is like big brother little brother type s***. Yankee fans can pick on you guys, but if nobody else is allowed to f*** with you guys. Pissing on the sox is in essence pissing on the entire AL East, yankees included. The rivalry wouldnt be present without the sox being solid. The ALE wouldnt be the league with the best talent if it wasnt for the sox being solid. There is NO NL team that could come into the AL East and win the title, there is not even one NL team that could come to the East and take the wildcard. The dodgers can have fun pissing on the padres, giants, dbacks, and rockies in a fight to see who can win the AL West (ie. the race for who can get swept out of the playoffs first). Eat s*** linda.
