Rodney Harrison's Achievements

  1. All our "successes" have come in Uruguay (3rd place), Brazil (the epic upset of England), USA (2nd round), and South Korea (quarterfinals).
  2. So who's closing for the Pirates?
  3. Take the Dodgers off that list. With the McCourts' divorce going on, the Dodgers don't figure to have any money to spend. The fact that they didn't offer arbitration to any of their free agents speaks volumes.
  4. One of the few guys on the Angels I tolerated. Heck, my grandpa was a huge fan of his, and one of the last things I heard him talk about was how he and Bartolo Colon were going to be a mean 1-2 punch for Anaheim. Too bad injuries have slowed him down. Nice to see him getting picked up.
  5. In case no one heard Spain won the whole thing over Germany.
  6. Sucks even more that it's not even an official no-hitter. They couldn't even get that right.
  7. Agreed. Pick one team and hate the rest. Otherwise, you risk being seabeachfred.
  8. You're right on the money with Gibbs. The 'Skins are very motivated now. They've survived a mid-season slump and they are now on a roll. I'd watch out for them come playoff time.
  9. If the Bolts win out, they'd get the 3 seed over either Cleveland or Pittsburgh (conference record, I think).
  10. 55 games in two years. That's too much.
  11. If that's not a miracle, I don't know what is.
  12. Sorry, Ohio State played NOBODY this year and are undeserving of their top ranking. You can make a case for Oklahoma getting in the title game against LSU. See Red does have a point in saying that a loss is a loss, whether it's by 1 or 50. That's why there's no such thing as a quality loss. This is the same argument used by Michigan last year when they lost to Ohio State, and the eventual national champs leapfrogged them in the polls.
