Not a move to brag about for the Yankees. Sure, they do get a 4.52 ERA pitcher in the AL, but they gave up a lot of talent to do so. Couldn't they just have signed a younger pitcher in Jon Garland (4.47 AL ERA)? Unless they think he can duplicate the numbers of 2009, they gave up a lot of talent in this trade for a #4 starter who has had his struggles in the past with the Yankees and in the American League.
