  1. Not a move to brag about for the Yankees. Sure, they do get a 4.52 ERA pitcher in the AL, but they gave up a lot of talent to do so. Couldn't they just have signed a younger pitcher in Jon Garland (4.47 AL ERA)? Unless they think he can duplicate the numbers of 2009, they gave up a lot of talent in this trade for a #4 starter who has had his struggles in the past with the Yankees and in the American League.
  2. Lowrie's number in Pawtucket was #3.
  3. I liked Hansen yesterday than our entire bullpen today. In a perfect world, Lopez DFA, Hansen up. I doubt it though. Where did the 2007 Delcarmen go?
  4. I think they should let Masterson go out there and get one more out. Let him get a standing ovation. He has been keeping the ball down all day except for the homerun. It was a weak homerun. No wind no homerun. His stuff looks good too
  5. Craig Hansens Pitching Statistics thusfar in AAA: 6 Games 9.1 innings 0 ER 3 H 3 BB 10 K It may be early, but he hasn't put up numbers like these since his college days.
  6. I'll make a ballsy prediction and say that Craig Hansen resurrects his career this year and will pitch for the Red Sox later this year and put up some decent numbers. Sleeping problems could have plagued Hansen in the past, but now he can become a different pitcher.
  7. He did hold the "Dangerous" Yankee lineup to 2 runs in 6.2 innings in 2006. Other than that....
  8. 26-23 BC after double overtime. (13-13 after time expires). It really depends on how Ryan plays in the weather condition. It's pretty cool, my brother goes to BC and he knows Matt Ryan.
  9. Yet again, we catch no breaks.
  10. Three more innings. Lets at least get 1 run in the 7th.
  11. I just love it when Manny stands in the box with his arms up after a homerun.
  12. It all starts with 1. We could have used that last inning to change the complection.
  13. No luck for the Sox this series.
  14. 1-2-3 inning in the 2nd. 4 K's. Great so far for Wakefield. Hopefully he is this successful the second time around the order.
  15. Makes me wonder, WWJD? (What would Jacoby Do?)
  16. I hate those towels too, but not as much as I hate McCarver. I never hear him say a negative thing about the Guardians, only the Red Sox.
  17. Alright! Lets see a lot more pitches in this next inning.
  18. Hopefully these first timers will struggle with Wake tonight. He already has a K against one of them.
