I never said the Guardians offense sucked. I was critical of the lineup that they put out against the Unit in a particular game, because I felt that it was not a very good lineup.

I remember that. You were complaining about Eduado Perez being in the line up against RJ. I remember responding Perez should be in the lineup because he has very good numbers against Unit and he has a 1.000 OPS against left handers.

That's right. Good memory. Maybe I was wrong about that, but I wasn't saying the Cleveland offense sucks.

Yes, the very powerful offense with Jason Michaels battring 2nd and Eduardo Perez batting 5th. A very scary offense.

This is when they were 2nd in the AL in offense, folks.

I was in no way taking up the argument about Cleveland's team offense one way or another. Yeah, you did misunderstand again.

I just pulled up your quote. You said they were a bad offense, despite being second in MLB in runs scored.

Read post #38 in this thread. He called himself a masochist. Therefore, I thought it was fair game. I went pretty easy on him considering the personal attack that he leveled at me. Score 1 for me. Crespoblows blows.

You were clearly trying to insult him, just as you are now. Also, weak pun.

You dodge everything.

You're keeping score, as well? You really are one pathetic man.

Let's see what he does in the post-season, because that is why he is being rested.

Oh, it wasn't because he only completed one inning against the Phillies right, when he could only muster an 85 mph fastball? No, of course not, he's incapable of failure.

You'd be an excellent politician, sir.

Right, I was critical of their lineup on that date.

It was the same lineup all year.

Do some research.

(The only difference in the Beckett game was the switch of Perez and Broussard)

Are you serious?

You are an idiot.

Kennedy .683 OPS. Kendrick .825 OPS. Great idea.

In the 3 year period from 2003 - 2005, in 97 ABs, Kennedy had a .309 Avg, .417 OPB .454 Slg., and .871 OPS against Boston

I guess I was crazy to fear him.

Who cares what he does against Boston and NY. Its what he does against the rest of the league that makes or breaks a season. He is not a very good player anymore and the angels were foolish for holding back kendrick as long as they did.

Who cares what happened in that small of a sample size?

This year, Kennedy is a below average offensive player. Kendrick is already one of the best offensive second basemen, I'd rather face Kennedy, he's the inferior player.

Small sample sizes!!!

vs Red Sox

Kennedy: 3-16

Kendrick: 10-19

vs Yankees

Kennedy: Who cares, he's not going to match a .750 average.

Kendrick: 12-16

You did research, but not anything relevant.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I'M WRONG AGAIN!!!!

I don't really care what he does against the rest of the league. It's more relevant to me what a guy does against the Red Sox. I had always remembered that kennedy was a Red Sox killer and the numbers bear that out. Do you think that when Tommy Hutton who owned Tom Seaver stepped to the plate Seaver said this guys #'s suck against the rest of the league, so I'll just blow him away? No, Seaver hated to see the guy step in, because he couldn't get him out.

I could only find three years of stats, but kennedy has been killing us longer than that. When Kendrick starts killing us on a regular basis, I'll fear him.

Kendrick's already more of a Red Sox/Yankee Killer. Kennedy, is hitting below the Mendoza line against the Red Sox this year. He still kills them?

Oh, if you don't care what anyone else does, if it isn't relevant to the Red Sox and Yankees, why would you care would Sutton does? Sutton never faced Seaver when he was with the Red Sox. Besides, everyone knows that sometimes one player often kills another one. That's obvious, but when Kennedy was beating up the Red Sox, he was a good player. He no longer is.

Really? Look at the lineup on that day, and tell me how many times the Guardians fielded that lineup before you declare that you are right.

Keep digging that hole.

For the first month, that lineup was 1-9. Before the Guardians started to suck, that lineup was still out there.

LOOKS LIKE I'M WRONG AGAIN!

First of all, his name is Hutton. Second, I really don't care. I was using it as an example to illustrate a point, or can't your pea-sized brain grasp that concept?

Ask Yankee fans if they like seeing him come to the plate. He continues to kill them.

Wrong on two counts in a single post. I look forward to your next angry, idiotic post. Make it a long one so you can be wrong three or more times. :D

Ha! I also said that it was obvious that some players dominate others. You must have missed that. f***ing moron. The main point was, Kennedy is no longer a good player, so I'd rather face him, because he's worse then Kendrick. You're missing my point.

He's hitting .333 this year. Kendrick, .750. Yankee fans, which player would you rather face?

Yes, and thank you for proving my point by doing the research. They were 1 win and 9 losses with that lineup? Hmmm? I don't know, but that doesn't seem lik a very good record does it. for me.:thumbdown for you.

You are out of your league. You and Lester need more seasoning. Go argue with your mother. Hone your skills and come back when you can argue like an adult.

Holy s***. You're an idiot. 1-9 means, order of lineup. One through nine, I should have said. Dumb as a rock, folks.

They were actually, 6-4. They lost when the pitching staff gave up 10, 11, 9, and 5 runs respectively. Please, just stop. This is embarrassing.

You're over the hill, just like Pedro.

About the first two weeks. Feel free to take a look.

You are such a bogus hot air balloon. None of the lineups in these links was the same lineup as the Day in question against the Yankees. This is bogus evidence.

Let me reiterate for the learning impaired, I made my comments in the context of a yankee game where Unit pitched. I didn't like the Indian line-up that day. My comments were not meant as an overall indictment of Cleveland's offense. You seem intent on proving that was my intent was to attack Cleveland's offense by showing that they had fielded their regular lineup that day. If you want to pursue that, please present evidence that supports your case. Tell me how many times the Guardians fielded that exact lineup this year. These links are bogus BS. Here is the lineup on that day. How many times did the Guardians field this lineup 1 though 9 in this order. Put up or shut up. No more phony evidence.
