-why didn't foulke pitch last night instead of hansen, or timlin????

 

-why did WMP finally figure out how to hit a pitch over the plate today with nobody on after we go down 2...he's had a ton of chances over the weekend (and good pitches to hit--place dicipline hasn't been his problem lately) with guys on and he's gone 1-20

 

-why is coco still leading off when he was hitting over 300 down in the order and sucking at the top of the order? put anyone else there since you are getting no production

Dustin Pedroia (who was playing DH) has been removed from the game. It is quite possible that he's heading for Boston. A-Gon had a setback today.

If Gonzo goes on the DL, that is too bad. He was having one of his better years. But I don't mind so long as the Sox bring up Pedroia. There's been a s*** load of talk about this kid and I've never seen him play once.

He is nothing like eckstein. More like marcus giles than eckstein. He can pretty much do alot of things better than eckstein.

Without a doubt. I believe the roster move will look like this. The sox need to create space on the 40 man roster to get Pedroia on it. The first move is going to likely be Gonzalez to the DL. Then Abe Alvarez is going to likely be called up to Boston and then transfered to the 60 day DL in a paper move freeing up a 40 man roster spot for Dustin Pedroia.

Loretta is a goner for sure. He is old and Pedroia in my mind is a better player and is a player that fans will love. I'd like Gonzo back but something tells me the sox will look to upgrade offensively if they can get Julio Lugo to play short at the the right price. Lugo would be your leadoff and a pretty good one too.

Just got the word that Pedroia is on his way to the west coast as his pawtucket teammates were hugging him and giving high fives on the way out. Gonzo should be going to the DL likely tomorrow.

If this team had the pitching most fans would have more faith but they have no starting pitching, no bullpen and a slumping offense and they are under playing under .500 against teams above .500 in the standings.
