some MSNBC writer is calling out for Sox fans to boo Pedro

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/13563958/

This is the headline: They did the same to Damon — it would be an insult to do otherwise

:what: 2 totally different situations. Youre not even a Red Sox fan, you are a writer from New York. The f*** you know whats best and what we should do. Have fun hearing about the Pedro raucous standing ovation

I looked but couldn't find the guy's email address. If anyone finds it let me know as I have some words for him, BTW I hate when people tell fans how to react when they don't even follow the team. If I can't find his email I'll just email MSNBC.

I believe his email address is Celizic@yahoo.com

At least that's what it said at the end of another article of his. Try it out, sorry if it doesn't work though. I did some looking around and that's what I found.

I’m watching Pedro’s press conference right now, and just listening to him speak reminds me of how much I miss him on the team

Imagine a rotation with Pedro, Schill, and Beckett.

How ironic some have written on this thread bashing this poor man, shame on those that did, they got their wish.. he's probably going to retire

I think the so-called “bashing” on this thread was more directed to the notion of booing Pedro, not really directed at Gammons himself.

Extremely sad news and I wish him all the best and a speedy recovery.

No such thing as a speedy recovery from an anueryism. Weve likely seen the last of Peter Gammons as a baseball reporter. Good luck, pete. Just recover.

wow, this thread looks terrible,

love Gammons work, ESPN baseball will not be the same without him

We were just bashing of how he supposed right away that all of RSN wanted to boo him first chance we all get. Course that is not the case now

No one on here really wished that kind of harm to him

This thread really should be closed at this point, or at the very least the posts of booing Pedro merged into the other one. Perhaps a separate one could go on to discuss Gammons’ situation with a different title. It feels wrong to keep the “Gammons needs to retire” title.

Wow, I didn't see the game tonight and almost fell off the couch when i heard the news---a sad day for baseball! Gammo is the only tollerable part of baseball tonight, with this happening it probably means Kruk is going to get more airtime which is bad for the game! The game of baseball and the sox are better off because of Gammo, now let's all wish him a speedy recovery!

I love all of Gammons work. This would be an awful blow to baseball if he was gone!

Please get well Peter! :(
