he's got jimmycarter05 giving him a nice little bj

And you are... ?

But anyway, See Red basically just took what I was going to say.

Besides, I'd blame last night on Tito more than Seanez. Seanez can only pitch like himself, which unfortunately for us, is what we saw last night. Tito needs to know that using Seanez in a situation like that wasn't the best idea. Giambi is a very selective hitter and Seanez tends to be pretty wild. Luckily, we didn't see Tavarez in that position or it would have been a lot worse. Seanez should have, if at any time, been in there a batter early. Pauley pitched very very well and I look forward to his future on this team as a 5th starter. I could get used to watching him in that role.

But hey, if you're using that excuse for Seanez with the 50,000 New Yorkers, don't count on Fenway being easier. At least he was pitching in front of 50,000 fans that love him last night. It will be harder when 36,000 fans are screaming and hate him.

Things haven’t changed much since this thread first started. He’s still the most reliable arm in the pen now that Timlin is on the DL. Sad but true, he‘s the go-to guy in the pen in high leverage situations.

We know what we have in Seanez but I’m beginning to wonder if Foulke will ever return to form…

If you watch Keith Foulke pitch, you'll forget Rudy Seanez. You'll hate Seanez less, but you'd only displace your anger onto Foulke.

Bad thing? :dunno:

I still think he is pitching better than Tavarez, Foulke, Riske....and just about anyone else in the pen not named Papelbon.

I guess not allowing an ER in 1 month and seven days doesnt mean anything nowadays.

I mean, come on....the last earned run he allowed was on May 4th....thats a LONG time ago.

The blame deserves to go on the shoulders of someone else, I dont know why Seanez is always the scrapegoat.

Yeah, i agree with Sweet Chin Music. I don't see why Seanez gets killed on this board so often. He hasn't been perfect but whose been so much better in the bullpen other than Pappelbon?

If you slam your left testicle in the car door before watching Seanez, you'll hate him less.

Next time you need to write out "left testicle", you can write lefticle instead. It saves some letters and most people will understand what you're talking about.

Just a helpful tip! ;)

Ive already reserved that word to refer to the bits of popsicle left on the stick when you've consumed most of it. :harhar:

Riske has an ERA of 3.72 so he's pitched better even though its been less innings due to injury. When Timlin and hopefully Hansen are back on the team my rank would be:

Paps

Timlin

Hansen

Riske

Seanez/Tavarez - depending on if Seanez is on a good or bad streak

Foulke - he would be 3rd or 4th when he gets off the DL - which he needs to be sent to

I get frustrated trying to pronounce his last name.

He frustrates a Yankee fan, that's a pretty positive thing to some of you I imagine.

Truer words were never spoken.

In the stock market which is our bullpen, I would have to say Seanez's stock just rose significantly.

God I hate Tavarez. He reminds me of Ramiro Mendoza, a middle inning guy with previous success who we sign in their early 30's, and they have zero stuff left, and years remaining on the deal. We have to deal with this for another season, god help us.
