Oh yea, that's a real shocker.

well, i figured our hate towards him was all done and over with, I mean we cheered his supposed final game at Fenway, we wouldve been happy if he signed back with us, and then we just boo him, i dont get it.

The fact that he chose not to come to Boston this year, after all the hype, doesn’t help Roger’s cause. I think more fans feel spurned by him: saying he’ll retire and he doesn’t, playing for the MFY, and then rejecting this year and all.. I’m sure opinions would be a LOT different if the Sox had won the WS in ‘86.

nice to see the astros respond for him eh??

their effort or lack there of speaks for itself and shame on drayton mcclain for not even attempting to resign beltran then paying this fraud 18M last year and what??10-12M this year??

i was at the game today. the ovation as not nearly close to what it was during yesterdays game.. but that's expected he was pitching.

i sat around a bunch of idiots. some started to chant who's your daddy only to be joined by some tools. others taunted pedro, pedro.

WEEI was handing out welcome back PAY-DRO signs and don't vote for pedro signs. those guys are toolbags. i watched them broadcast out their window for a little but and walked up, tapped on the glass and told them that they didn't know s*** about baseball.

Well done,

NESN has done a nice job on discussing "everything Pedro". I still love listening to the guy talk...he had some great things to say after the game despite his results. He is a real class act.

i was there tonight and completely agree. The ovatation was good, but not as good as it should have been.

Also at the game tonight. I think one reason the ovation was as loud as it could have been was because he got 4 standing ovations. First when he started walking out to warm up, again when he headed back to the dugout, again when the lineups were announced, and again his first time out to the mound.

Pedro was the reason I started following the Red Sox in my "pick a team to follow" phase. If it wasn't for the tragic history, the subordinates to a mightier, more evil force, it was watching this little guy blow the Yankees away in 2000 that sealed the deal. Absolutely gutted when he left. I even own a Martinez Mets T shirt.

I am glad that any boos were extremely limited. Only if he had gone to THEM would I have wanted it to happen. You don't cross that Rubicon.

if you want to know what I think about Pedro you can read my latest blog entry. Warning: may be a bit overblown, but I wanted to get my point across
