Ahhhh, a National League extra inning game. With a runner on 3rd, the Astros ended up intentionally walking Kent and Nomar consecutive times to get to pinch hitter, Odalis.

 

EDIT: Finally, the game is over (HOU 4, LA 3 14th). I blame Nomah for not getting that key hit when there was a runner on 3rd after Kent tied it in the 9th.

Hey Moose, I assume you were watching the game. Gameday said Ausmus got ejected in the ninth after one pitch, but MLB.com's game wrap didnt mention it. Why'd he get thrown out?

The first pitch to him was a borderline call, so he started to complain. The home plate umpire was so patient that he warned him about four times. Ausmus kept talking and the ump had enough. I assume the reason why Ausmus never wanted to stop is because he didn't get that borderline call when he was the one catching.

Ah. It just confused me, because you dont often see guys getting chucked arguing the first pitch, usually its the 3-2 or the 3-1 with something on the line.
