    Clemens Pedro Tiant Ruth Schilling. I put schill in because of the above reason, his bloody sock performance is probably the most memrobable pitching performance in the history of the franchise. And ruth because if he hadn't switched to the outfield he would have been one of the GREATEST pitchers of all time.

    yea I have to say this Jeter bashing is kind of crazy. he is a special player. other yankees= not :-) jeter is the only one who gets any credit, maybe matsui, I am so sick of hearing these "a-rod is becoming a clutch player" things though becuase hes not. When it counts against the sox, he chokes. that simple. so did the entire 04 team,but we, uh, we won't rub that in in the yankee thread.

    Yea from the highlights I've seen he didn't look too sharp, but he does have that velocity. Look, he isn't going to be the 2001 diamondbacks schilling but if he can win 16-17 games and beckett can win 17-18 then that top of the rotation is set.

    wow. I really don't care. honestly, if the bruins aren't playing it doensn't make a difference. I can apreciate a good hockey game thats non-bruins, I loved pretending to be bobby orr playing hockey with tennis rackets and balls with friends on hot nights during the finals when the bruins weren't even playing. those were the days.

    thank god for that. I really love fenway. It was the first time I can say I really really enjoyed a baseaball game more than anything else. I'd always loved playing the game, but the atmosphere was just so perfect.

    good game everyone, good game. "I love that dirty water, oh, oh Boston you're my home!" 11-1 the final. Beckett pitched like a monster, he was smokin' on his b-day, that fastball was wicked. lowell, pena, and the captain leading the the boys. Go sox.

    Bernie Shouldn't get anything, he is a class act. People like a-rod throwing helmets should be suspended to prove that their money is not invincible, yea bernie makes some dough but he is a nice enough guy, un like suck-rod and randy johnson

    I really don't think that was Becketts fault. Yea hes thrown a bunch of heaters but that was a great piece of hitting. Tejada turned around an inside 97 m/hr fastball and hit a rocket line drive off the top of the wall and over. It was an odd play. but f***! thats how we come back from a long weekend off. jeepers!

    My vote goes to the schillingisthenatural's post . That is actually a story that I think a sox game, and hopefully victory would heal.

    I am sorry, but I am really a purist. I would rather have fenway until 2040 with 4 day washouts then have a new ballpark. It's like with the yankee fans I know, they are all fine with a NEW Yankee stadium. What about the history! Yea I am not a fan, but still, it is one of the most famous buildings in the world. a rectratable roof and ESPECIALLY a dome completely destroys all the memories of Teddy Ballgame, of Yaz and the Impossible Dream, of 04, of all those great games. Come on. Keep Fenway till it falls to the ground. Then lets talk.

    How about this. I know a lot of people still LOVE him. I know a lot of people don't want to see him again. But if Gonzalez doesn't do well, say at Mid Season, how 'bout trying to bring back Nomar. I don't want to start anything, but why not bring back some nostalgia and maybe recharge the team. I also know a lot of people say his attitude wasn't great in 04 before he got traded, and then the unbelieveable championship came to town, but come on. I would scream for 1 minute straight.

    I am going to Yankee Stadium on my birthday June 6th to see the Sox Yankees game. I am sitting in the bleachers like I did last year when they lost 6-3 on May 27, 2005. I don't want these tickets, but I love yankees red sox. good luck to you all.
