Red Sox/Yanks Rivalry Contest

As this is a world renown rivalry, it deserves a contest befitting its stature and the quality members of our site. First, I want to thank Stocker323 and Yeszir for their inputs and guidance. This contest is based on the upcoming Red Sox/Yankees series : May 1 & 2, and May 9-11.

 

Here's how it works :

 

---First : Red Sox Total Wins - Wrong picks eliminated - winners move on.

---Second : Red Sox Total Home Runs ( HR ) - Wrong picks eliminated - winners move on.

---Third : Red Sox Total Runs Scored - This is the tie breaker in the event that ties haven't been eliminated by the first and second criteria.

 

Some Possible Outcomes : I assume that in a total of 5 games, more than one person will pick correct number of Red Sox Wins and move on. These winners must then have the correct number of Red Sox Home Runs ( for the series ). If there is no one with the correct answer, then a winner will be chosen by the tie breaker - Red Sox Total Runs Scored. If there are 2 or more winners after the first two criteria, then again a winner will be determined by the tie breaker Red Sox Total Runs Scored.

 

The Rules :

 

*** You must be a Talksox member in good standing with at least 100 posts.

*** Only one entry per person.

*** You can't pick a number already taken in the Red Sox Total Runs category.

*** You must contact ( or make every attempt to ) me via PM within 24 hrs.

*** Entry is open now and closes on 4/30 at noon.

The Prizes :

 

*** Tickets : Two tickets to an upcoming Red Sox/Yankees game. In an effort to accommodate the schedule of the winner, the winner will have the choice of both date and location. Yes, that means either NY or Fenway. You tell me what date and venue you want and I'll get the tickets ( it's really important to get me your choice quickly, especially if choosing the May 22-24 series, as I have to acquire, receive and send the tickets ). Anyone from prior tickets contests will tell you, I select very good tickets.

 

*** Cash : $ 100 for pocket money ( always nice to have some money at the ballpark ).

 

*** The Contest : For the two series above ( May 1 & 2, 9-11 ) pick the following :
