I don't understand the move to IBB Delgado. I know he has good career stats against Rivera, but Wright is a very good RH batter, and Rivera's cutter is tougher on LH batters since it runs in on the hands. Whatever, I'll take it.

Why did they walk delgado? He's 7-18, but big deal. He's much better against lefties. Stupid move, but still, Mo has to be able to keep wright from hitting it 400 feet. No excuse for that.

He was playing exactly where he should have been when Mo is at his best. Batters usually get flare hits or bleeding grounders off Mo. They don't usually drive the ball 400+ feet. He was playing the odds and he was in position. Mo got burned.

He still has to guard against those pussy hits though, he can't expect wright's gonna hit it that far. Mo deserved to lose, can't blame it on damon. But again, he probably should have gone after Delgado.

I think the OF may have to start playing deeper when Mo pitches if he keeps getting hit this hard. When he's right the OF should be shallow.
