Yeah we won a World Series before you were born so we lost it a long time ago as well. Were you referring to real virginity cause I lost mine to your mother a long time ago...and now you're here....living in a large basement if I'm not mistaken

Both posts you refer to were in what is called a "SARCASTIC" fashion. Please look it up first.

If you wanted to argue just for the sake of arguing, didnt I already provide you enough fodder with that post about Ortiz hits better because of the crap bullpens?

Boston didn't choke the division away this year, the Yankees didn't choke the postseason away last year. The better team won, and that's it.

I have to disagree. I could understand you saying they didnt choke away the division this year, thats fair. But we definately choked last year. We were in the 9th inning of Game 4 with Mariano Rivera on the mound about to win our 40th pennant and...............well you know the rest.

no reason we should have lost that series, I dont care what is said about better team, we should have won it.

That is not to take anything away from boston, because they played spectacular and most other teams would have just given up at that point.

nowhere in your idiot rambling did you tell me when the RED SOX lost a 3-0 lead.....

What does it matter when you guys ever lost a 3-0 lead? 86 years of futility, that's just plain sorry.

Thanks for the history lesson, fools.

... after they whittled the Yankees' lead from 10? games on Aug. 15 to just 2? on Sept. 17. That was the night Kenny Lofton failed to catch Johnny Damon's soft, sinking fly ball in the ninth inning, prompting Mariano Rivera to publicly scold his center fielder, extending his arms in disbelief and shouting, "Catch the ball, come on."

I thought you were talking about something different. The picture you have is the hit that Roberts scored on. Yes, the Lofton thing was at the Stadium.

Sorry that im such a fool because I didnt know that the thing with Lofton was anointed the "Catch The Ball Play"

Seriously though, the picture you posted had Rivera on the ground, why would he be on the ground saying "catch the ball" looking like a ball was just hit right by him.

I would post the Paper from the Red Sox World Series before '04, but they didn't invent the printing press yet.
