Iversons more of a shooting guard than a point guard.

Nash or Billups? I think Nash is a better "point guard" and Billups is the better scorer. 5 times out of 10 id take Nash, 5 times out of 10 id take Billups.

Way to dodge that question...

Yeah, well, I honestly wouldnt know who to pick. It would depend on the team that I already had.

I know -- just givin' ya s*** for no apparent reason. I'm in the same boat, it'd completely depend on the rest of my team.

Haha, thanks? Thats really the last thing I need right now is s***. Ive been trying to study for my Chem final since 330, and I havent really succeeded in studying at all. I pretty much need to do well on it in order to pass the class.

I'd take Nash, because if I was starting a team I would want a runninng team (just like the Suns), and well he IS on the Suns. :D

I think Billups is the backbone of that Pistons team. He is what holds them together, I think

Nash holds the Suns together too. Like See Red and YanksHater said, it depends on the team around them.

Actually, after taking some time to think it over...

I'd take Earl Boykins over anyone... ever.

(Those that take me seriously need to go back a few pages to where the Nuggets were on a losing streak.)

Actually, I jus rethought about it (for about the 4th time), and decided I'd take Chauncey everytime over Nash. The guy's already proven that he can D up, unlike Nash who's a complete defensive liability,

Chauncey is a big time player. You know he's gonna perform in the clutch, and also get in his man's way. Nash, though...

Chauncey's got a ring, when Nash gets one, we'll revisit this debate.

Nash is clutch. (exhibit A: West Semis VS. Dallas, game 5.)

See Red your right, Nash blows at D. But it's ok, he's my boy and I'll take him. I feel like, with Amare healthy we are a team that can win it. (Don't say the Spurs, we already beat them, IN San Antonio, WITHOUT Stoudemire, and I think we can beat Detroit too. We almost did without Amare.)

Psh, I won't go there in regards to rings.

Even with Stoudamire, I don't think your team can match up with Det or SA in the playoffs. Not that it isnt a fun style to watch, it just doesn't look like a real basketball team. I like offense as much as anyone, but there's gotta be some D somewhere. You guys won 60+ last year and died off in the playoffs. I see the same thing happening this year.

Nash does lead the league in turnovers, but with an assist-to-turnover ratio of almost 3-1, it doesn't matter.

I see you point but heres the thing. We ALREADY beat the Spurs in their cowboy-arena WITHOUT Amare. I see that as a HUGE confidence builder. Remember, Amare (individually, in head-to-head matchups) ABSOLUTELY kills Duncan. Duncan can't guard him, and Amare puts up freak numbers. He just can't. Oh and remember the block...:D

And put this into the equation (with a pencil because its a rumor, albeit a very strong one down here in my parts), he's supposedly developed a very consistent three-point shot. He was unguardable when he could shoot decent from 12 feet. Imagine the possibilities of him with a three point shot.

Here's the sequence now:

"Amare with the ball, out on the wing, already has 5 three pointer made tonight, pump fakes Duncan goes flying in the air, Amare drives it down the lane, and flys in for a wham-bam-slam (One of Al Mccoy's famous phrases), and dunks over Rasho Nesterovic."

That could cause alot of problems. The opposing teams center fouling out because they think they can block Stoudemire (LMFAO  I'd love to see Rasho try ) and get quick fouls because he posterizes them. Then Duncan would have to fall back because he would have to protect the paint, because of the lack of a big man inside and then Amare would nail threes on him all day. Then he would have to get out on Amare again, Amare would blow by him (not like he had any problems with that before) and either dunk again, or dish to either cutting teammates (Marion or Nash) or throw it out to open shooters such as Raja Bell or James Jones. And this would make his game even more dynamic. Take all this into the fact that we ALREADY beat them, their older than us, and if Duncan is out of the equation, and we have Stoudemire with his new repetoire, we should beat them. Adds another element to our team.

With this debate about best PG being Chauncey or Nash, and now this talk about Admare being better then Duncan. Im gonna call my Championship game right here. SPURS VS. DETROIT, again. Spurs will win it again. Like the Pistons, the spurs compliment each other. Parker, Ginobli, Duncan, Muhammed, Bowen... Good team right there. Now I will say, Muhammed can't compare to Ben, and Bowen can't compare to Rip, but I think Ginobli will have an amazing series on Hamilton, He is my X FACTOR

I don't know if he's saying Amare is better as much as he's saying that Amare's abilities and style match up favorable against somebody like Duncan.

If he is saying he's better than Duncan, then I can't bring myself to agree. Give him time, though, and he will be.

My only problem with this is that the Sperms are notorious for taking it easy in the regular season.

If that's true, that would bode very well for matching up on Duncan. the one PF who always gave him fits was Sheed because of his range. My personal feeling is that Amare should be working on his 15-20 footer rather than a 3 since that will take him even further away from the basket.

I would still be a bit wary about Amare once he comes back. Microfracture surgery has limited many players, especially one who relies on his athleticism as much as Amare. The guy's a shining star, but you just have to hope this doesn't do to him what it did to McDeyss.

Didn't Penny Hardaway have something similar? We've seen what that's done to his career. I hope Amare makes a full recovery.

I'm saying that Dunacan, last years Championship MVP is better.
