Did anyone see the Nuggets game? That last play last night. Where Harris I think it was got wide open after Miller lost him. What a bad way to lose, especially after that amazing shot to tie it by Carmelo.

That shot by Carmelo over Dirk was amazing. Especially after my moronic friend was going on and on after 'Melo missed the first free throw about how Melo isn't a winner and can't make a big shot. But yeah, the Nuggets find another way to lose. <_>

Yeah, well the Celtics havent been playing the most consistent ball either. Id be surprised if they win this game.

Actually we have been quite consistant with these Ls piling up:lol:

Steve Javie sucks. Anyone see him eject Mo Pete for slapping VC back? They were joking around!

I didn't see that, but I have my own dislike for Viola (I think thats her name, or maybe its Violet I dunno :dunno: ) Palmer. Shes awful. And I don't pay much attention to the refs but she's terrible.

That Mo Pete ejection was complete ********... even Vince argued for Peterson.

That official should be punished for being a moron.

As for the lady, she's awful.

Just subscribed to NBA League Pass last Saturday, and it's really worth it. In any case, what an idiotic decision by Andre Miller. He could've called a timeout with 3 seconds left in 2OT.

If Melo has to wear that mask, I may have to find a way to photoshop it into my avatar!

And that's it... game over!

'Melo has been CLUTCH lately.

What a shot by Melo!!! Great game. This great Phoenix Suns team just finds their way to get the equalizer, but not in their last possesion.

It's kind of funny, actually. After he missed a free throw late against Dallas, my friend said he couldn't hit a big shot for his life. Since then he hit the shot that sent that game to OT, a game winner against Houston, and a game winner tonight. He's starting to become a really clutch player.

I only saw most of the third overtime (I was at my sisters wedding reception) but Melo's shot was amazing. House's shot at the end was forced and not a good one at all. He could have at least rose straight up, oh well. It's hard (to win) without our floor general, as they said on the local Phoenix TV broadcast.

thats true... the nba game has become so damn commercial that i am waiting to teams to sponsor jerseys like on street ball with mountain dew... each time that a team changes from one to another with sponsors its like a small piece of the magic from the game is taken away... soon every player will have a sponsor tattooed to the top of his head. oh well i guess the league has to go towards the money

Well everything changes, doesn't it? The Spurs has also changed their arena's name from SBC Center to AT&T Center.

But for the Spurs, I believe AT&T bought out SBC or something along those lines. I'm pretty sure the SF Giants stadium changed from SBC to AT&T, too.

Edit: I see that's also the case with the Suns Arena too.

I'm one of the 12 Celtics fans left out there so:

Steve Francis has been suspended from the Magic indefinately for "conduct detrimental to the team." My idea, Ricky Davis and Marc Blount for Steve Francis. For those of you not too familiar with NBA trades, the money has to be really close, so thats why they might take Blount.

Ainge would do thta, thats the sad thing. Davis gives you just as much, if not more than Francis. Hes so high on Delonte West I dont think that he would consider bringing in another point guard to compete with him, especially the way hes playing. I dont really see the need to trade Blount, or any bigman aside from Scalabrine, because thats our weakness, and usually you try to fix them, not make them worse. If I was Danny, I wouldnt do that.

Francis could play the 2, and is far, far better than Ricky. Blount makes way too much money and isn't as good as Perk or Jefferson. Just my opinion.

The trade would work under the CBA. A great way to check trades is RealGM.com, they have a trade checker thing where it'll tell you if a trade works.

Really? Davis is averaging 4 more ppg on 3% better FG shooting. Same rebounds, assists, and steals. Davis shoots 8% better for threes as well, along with better field goal percentage. I dont really know how you can say that hes far better than Ricky. Plus, Ricky isnt the one who got suspended indefinitely by his team.

Get your facts straight next time...

Wasn't stating facts, get your criticisms right next time.

You're also cherry picking stats. Francis has twice the assists, 2 more rebounds, and half a steal more a game. Rickys defense is spotts at best. Francis offensive numbers are down this year, but in his career he's averaged more than 5 ppg better.

Whoa, what the hell are you talking about? Yeah, overall Francis has had the better career. Im talking about this year, and for the future. I would MUCH rather have Davis, who is playing much better ball than Francis RIGHT NOW, when it matters, and it two years younger. I dont really know about anyone else, but basing your team on career stats is probably the stupidest thing you could do.

Haha, oh yeah, and Ricky's defense is spots at best? Do you watch the Celtics at all? Seriously man, hes one of the better guys in the NBA at denying the ball to whoever hes guarding... nice one, buddy.

I think its pretty obvious you have to look at both. People have said hes been unmotivated and unhappy in orlando this year. Remember Vince Carter last year? He was terrible with the Raptors, got traded, and started playing the best hes ever played.

As for the age factor, Ricky is 26, while Francis is all of 28. Oh my god what a HUGE difference. I think the Celtics have enough Youth.

Rickys defense is good when hes motivated. You honestly think he's been "one of the better guys" all year? Did you see the end of the Mavs game? Stackhouse was his guy. Not only did he not deny him the ball, stackhouse got a WIDE OPEN shot from about 15 feet.

You're also still ignoring the big difference in rebounding and assists. You wanna disagree fine, but don't act like I'm the moron here.

Yeah, I do remember Vince last year, but every player isnt the same. Moving Francis to Boston wouldnt really do much, since Boston and Orlando are pretty much the same right now, both 1 game back of the 8th spot. Plus you also have to look at the team we have right now. With such a young and impressionable team, do you think it would be the right move to bring in a guy who was suspended by his team for refusing to go into a game? I think that this year Ricky has been an amazing asset to this team, not to mention him playing on the second unit. I doubt Francis would agree to playing on the second unit here. To do what you said to get rid of Blount, who is easily one of our better post players, and Davis who has had his best year as a pro (along with Pierce) to get a guy having a down year. I dont think that smart.

With the Celtics, Ricky has been playing the best basketball of his career, and the way I see it he can only get better, as he is entering his prime years. Francis is already in his prime years and will be leaving them soon.

And about that Dallas game. I dont see how you could say that was Ricky's fault. He did all he could to deny the ball to Stackhouse, but Stackhouse ran over and got a handoff, and Davis got caught a little on the pick. Stackhouse got a step, and Ricky was still able to recover somewhat and get a hand in his face. Also, that is Stackhouse's bread and butter, that little 18 foot jumper. He had made at least 3 already in the game up to that point. So I dont see how you can blame Ricky on that one...
