I don't think it would have been in the act of shooting though.

I think it might've been, actually. I'm not a big fan of how long the NBA often gives on continuation -- I've seen Iverson get fouled, take two steps and then go up for a layup and get shots, which is entirely too long -- but that seems like it would've been in line with how it usually get called, but I'm not sure it works like that on an intentional foul. Either way, there's no excuse for not calling that foul. Oh well, I want this series to be over.

I was cheering for the Cavs up until game 3.

Not because I jumped on the Spurs bandwagon, but because I wanted this series to be done as soon as possible. Not only was it a sweep, but not one of the games was actually entertaining.

you know no one cares when ESPN doesnt even make a special page for the champions...

i called the spurs all the way btw.

Anderson Varejio = Joakim Noah

Lost in all of this is the fact that Robert Horry has seven rings, Fabricio Oberto has a silver front tooth, which Tony Parker is pointing at in the following picture, and Ginobli still looks like Balki Bartokomous.

This sport sucks balls.

Like I said before, it doesn't matter the series sucked because the NBA is irrelevant.

If it wasn't already, this series certainly helped towards making that the case.

Tony Parker getting Finals MVP was horrible IMO. The vote wasn't even close as Parker won it 9-1 against Duncan (the only person voting for Duncan was Mark Stein). I guess when you do all the intangibles and you're consistently good, you deserve to be overlooked.

He has three Finals MVP's... he doesn't get overlooked.

Tony Parker deserved it. He hit huge shots down the stretch of these games and Cleveland didn't have one guy on their roster that could defend him.

Yeah, but what doesn't get better ratings than the NHL?

Saw an article posted on another message board...

For the NHL Stanley Cup Finals:

# Game One ranked 58th among all TV programs on May 28, with its 0.5 U.S HH rating and average audience of 769,000 viewers, ranking just behind Food Network's 'Build a Better Burger' (807,000 viewers) and E!'s 'Sunset Tan' (795,000 viewers)."

# "Game Two ranked 74th on May 30 with a U.S HH rating of 0.4 and an average audience of 576,000, placing it just behind a pair of episodes of "Mama's Family" on ION Networks (659,000 viewers and 620,000 viewers) and "VH1 All Access: Celebrity Parties" (578,000) (THE DAILY)."

# Game 3 "fell below the movie "Meltdown: Days Destruct" on Sci-Fi Channel, which posted a 1.2 U.S HH rating and 1.963 million viewers from 9:00-11:00pm the same night."

parker played great but duncan should have won it , duncan had better numbers and also made key shots and played way better defense than parker

I meant he was overlooked in this series. He went up against a 7'3" Zydrunas Ilgauskas, a physical defender in Drew Gooden and a flopping genius in Anderson Varejao. You're right, the Cavs didn't have anyone to defend him. That's because Parker spend the majority of the nights going up against either an incredibly young guy, or an incredibly old guy (for NBA standards).

Whoa... did a Spurs fan just call another player a flopping genius?

Manu Ginobli is, by far, the worst flopper in the league and from what I've seen, Fabricio Oberto is pretty damn close. The reason the League is considering making flopping a technical is basically because of your team.

But I digress... Big Z sucks.

There is actually...

Jefferson SHOULD NOT BE TRADED FOR EITHER.

If I were the TWolves or Pacers I'd do Green, West, Ratliff, and the 5th pick for one of them.

Fair trade for two big time stars on the decline. They'd get an up and coming dynamic scorer, a great trading chip in Ratliff, and a young kid who can shoot the lights out when hes on and play solid at both guard positions, along with whoever they decide to get with the 5th pick.

Celtics could be sick if that were to happen...

Jefferson

KG/O'Neal

Pierce

Allen

Rondo

OHHHHH MY DUDE
