Haha yeah, I got nervous whenever we doubled up on someone, because they would set a pick and Nash would go around it and we would blitz it. And then he would penetrate and kick out and there would ALWAYS be a defender lost somewhere and the Suns would just rotate it around the arc until they got an open look. Reminds me a lot of the Celtics circa 2002 when Walker, Pierce, and company chucked up 87498759874328 threes.

Yeah, me too...I don't think I ever come home from a game without losing my voice and having a splitting headache.

Yeah, going to close games is like the most badass thing ever. I have a 6 game pack, going Friday night vs the Clippers B). I was at the game vs. the Nets a few weeks ago, what a sick game that was. I had a sore throat throughout the weekend. Theres nothign that makes me more mad than a bad ball game though. I dont give a s***, win or lose its gotta be a good game, and thats why I like this team a lot, theyre always in it.

HAHAHAHA. I remember that team, Walker and Pierce were 1 & 2 in 3PT attempts per weren't they?

Thats Nash's game, penetrate and kick and thats where the three bombs come in handy, and THATS why I would ABSOLUTELY die if the Suns could somehow get their hands on JJ Redick.

Yeah dude. I went to opening night this year against the Mavericks, and I got sick the next day or so because I was going bananas. That game was probably the best game I've been to and we lost, go figure.

Although, the women walking around USAC (U.S. Airways Center) are very beautiful, thats Arizona for ya! B) And I ate at the Lexus Club which was SO money. Speaking of tickets...I gotta go get some...

Yeah, they were I think, but they were making them, and we did real well in the playoffs (for a Celtics team from this era) that year. Hated to see 'Toine go. He's not really a great player, but damnit he was a leader, and made this team tick. I still remember that game when we were down 21 to the Nets with like 15 minutes to go or something, and during a time out he was yelling at everyone, and we came back and won it. Playoff game too. They always play highlights of it at the Garden. I have that announcer from NBC (was it NBC?) stuck in my head. "AND THE GREATEST COMEBACK IN NBA HISTORY IS COMPLETE." That was probably one of my happiest moments as a Celtics fan.

Same here, a lot of very good looking women at games. I paid like... $228 or something for a 6 game pack, 2nd row balcony seats. Not a bad deal at all. People underrate the balcony so much. Its not bad at all, and its pretty intense up there.

YUP. I remember that game...and that series...EPIC. 7 gamer correct? Yup, I remember 'Toine, screming at the whole team, EVEN Pierce.

NBA on NBC should return, I hate this ABC garbage, and ESPN sucks (except when Bill Walton is doing a game, hes hilarious IMO  "and the legend from UCLA..." about any random UCLA player in the NBA, even if hes a bench warmer  ).

Yeah, it was 6 games I think. Im pretty sure I went to one of those games. Lucious Harris KILLED us that series with the 3s. Playoff basketball, gotta love it. And yeah, you are right, ABC does suck. I would love it if Tommy and Mike (FSNE announcers) did every game for the Celtics, even the playoffs. They are so hilarious, somewhat biased, but they are always entertaining, and whenever I watch a nationally televised game its so different, and almost boring.

Wow, the Hornets are in the playoff picture. The main reason is Chris Paul, and David West has to be the Most Improved Player of the Year.

CP should be MVP if they make the playoffs. And if West isnt most improved, ima slit my wrists. They are a very solid team. Too bad the Celts swept them, because we are f***ing badasses.

Unless your watching the Lakers or the Pistons, then I get annoyed because all they talk about is Kobe or the Pistons this and that. Its gets old, and boring.

I'd rather have our guys, Eddie Johnson, Tom Leander, and Dan Majerle (he does the home games for FSN Arizona.) do games too.

You know those sportswriters are going to give it to Kobe. All giddy over his 81 points. It's a joke because they probably won't make the playoffs.

People overrate Kobe so much. IMO Paul is a better choice for MVP. Paul is not only a rookie leading his team, but he has very little help around him. Plus averaging 16/6/7/2 is pretty amazing for a rookie.

He'll get ROY, but MVP they most likely won't give him. The current MVP is a good choice to repeat IMO,

But as much as I hate him, Kobe will get it.

I think Lebron will get some serious consideration too.

31.1 pts/gm, 7.0 reb/gm, 6.4 asst/gm, 1.68 stl/gm

That's one damn good average stat-line. Right now the Lakers are 7th in the West, while the Cavs are 2nd in the East (by win%, not actual seeding). If the Cavs can finish that high at the end of the year and Lakers just barely get into the playoffs (or don't make it at all), then I think Lebron has a shot at the MVP.

I'd rather see him get it than Kobe, and no question about it, LeBrons numbers are great and his teams very good too.

Haha you were at my house and we were watching that game and we like turned it off at the half and watched like the last 5 minutes. It was a sick game.

By true definition of the award I think Kobe deserves it. All those things you said about Paul apply to Kobe as well. He leads his team (not a rookie but this isn't ROY), has very little help around him (don't give me Lamar Odom because David West has very similar stats to Odom). So it comes down to stats and frankly Kobe obviously blows West away in that category.

Rememer, it's most VALUABLE player, not most valuable scorer. What would the Sixers be without Allen Iverson...

Without Kobe, the Lakers would probably be the worst team in the league. As it is, they're better than the Sixers

Replace Kobe with a decent shooting guard, say...umm...let's say Larry Hughes. Now the Lakers would probably be about a middle of the road team. Everyone says Kobe has no one but he does have a decent supporting cast, they just never get the ball. Odom can play. Parker can play.

Now replace Iverson with..oh, say...Jason Terry, and the Sixers would be among the worst teams in the league.

Iverson can put up huge points - maybe not 81, but a consistent 30 and has hit up to 60 before - and still spread the ball around a little. He can even play a little D. Iverson is my MVP.

Are you serious. You think Hughes, Odom, Mhim, Brown, and Smush Parker is a .500 team??
