Yes! Did it for Matt!

Shilling it wasn't pretty, but you got it done. Now let's find out more about Trot and Clement!

Also what is this constant crap I read and hear about Manny not happy in Boston and wanting out. Is it real?

Amazing all around game tonight. This one had everything. I had to freaking recap everything to Yankshater on the phone, the message took like 2.5 minutes for a recap. What a wild game.

"He had some numbness throughout the site where he got hit behind the right ear," said Lt. Rick Feinberg of the St. Petersburg Fire-Rescue.

The hospital did not immediately comment on Clement's condition, but Red Sox medical director Dr. Thomas Gill said a CT scan was negative.

"I have spoken with Matt and his doctors in Florida," Gill said. "Matt himself never lost consciousness and is in good spirits. ... He appears to be doing well, but will stay in the hospital for precautionary purposes and will be re-evaluated in the morning."

red sox also avoid being tied with yankees for first place and has the lead still

Randy johnson pitched a 2 hit shutout tonite. Things may get ugly if he gets his old stuff back together

This could be a turning point game in a lot of ways. It really affects the trade situation if Clement is gone more than 2 weeks. Trot looks out for a while.... strained oblieque (sp?) muscles are the joke of all injuries - nobody knows how long it will take to heal. :thumbdown

Kapler should be ready by Saturday I guess.

On the bright side, Manny D looked great.

Remember Five years ago, Bryce Florie was hit in the right eye by a ball. The line drive broke several bones in Florie's face and left his vision impaired. He tried to come back a year later, but just never really regained the abilities.

Scary HUH!

f*** f*** f*** f*** f*** f*** f***!

Wasn't Trot out last year because of back problems? This might f*** s*** up back there and cause him some issues.

from MSN

"The most famous injury that was similar came in 1957, when Cleveland Guardians phenom Herb Score was struck in the face by a line drive off the bat of the New York Yankees' Gil McDougald. The blow broke several bones in the face of the 24-year-old left-hander and left him bloodied.

Score returned late in the 1958 season, but fearful of being hit by another batted ball, his pitching motion was altered, and he was never quite the same. His velocity dropped and he became prone to injury as a result of the changed motion."
