New York City! The city that doesn't sleep, or from past expieriences from sitting next to Yankees fans, the City That Doesn't Bathe! It's so much fun seeing the Yankees fans all hyped up over their taking 3 out of 4 from the Red Sox in July! It seems as though these lads are quite excited about beating the Sox and maybe they have drank too much cawfee and that has contributed to their elation..

 

I can't say I blame New York fans for being so happy to beat a team from Boston. I mean when is the last time New York City has seen a title? the year 2000!? (LAUGHTER ).

Here in Boston we don't put much stake in to winning a series in July. We all know that when the going get tough, the Yankees momentum will hit a brick wall much like John Kerry's presidential run!!! The Patriots and Red Sox continue to bring in ring after ring, while the Jets and Giants continue to suck like a White House intern!!!

 

Once again come October here in Beantown we will once again celebrate a World series victory and at the same time the Pats will be about 8-0 while Eli Manning sits on the bench nursing a soar arm and the Jets........Well the Jets will always be the Jets, their chances of winning a playoff game are about as slim as Ally Mcbeal!!

We made Schilling look like a Rookie in Single A. We made your ace look pitiful. We made your precious Knuckleballer our bitch. too add to all this I must say, why don't you take a look at your so-called studs? what happened to Matsui during the series? He can't play off the monster worth crap, but worse yet, he got struck out like 4 times. not to mention giambi who was your home run man up until the sox shut him down. the last four games have been a battle of pitching, and both teams, lacking at the moment, were at a loss. The yanks throw in a last-minute Leiter and then Rivera and that is enough to barely top the sox offensively. Other than the pitching situation, do you honestly think the yankees have it as good as Boston? they have maybe one or two big name hitters that they can rely and a few duds that are inconsistent (matsui, giambi)..the sox have a full-bodied lineup. okay, maybe not bellhorn..but even so..am I right, or am I right? geeesh.

The yankee's used to have player's you could at leat respect as Ballplayer and men. You're down to a precious few ( Jeter, Williams, Tito, Posada ). The rest are a bunch of has beens, cheats and mercenies. Sheff has no credibility after roids, making intention errors to get traded ( sounds self-centered to me ) . I'll agree on the fact that if we had taken the series, we'd be rubbing it in. That's about it. Also, if you watched Schillings mechanics on the mound, he wasn't even pushing off his ankle, hense why he sucked.
