  1. he needs to retire. i agree with the monster is my mom. this guy is gonna sit on his ass and wait to see who is better before making a decision. clemens is a bitch. pitch or retire. im sick of this guy. i cant believe he is gonna sit out half the regular season because thats the only time he pitches worth a s***. very average playoff pitcher. i would like to see the sox spend money elsewhere.
  2. clemens is just crying that he got beat. i hate clemens. he needs to go away for good.
  3. no i think he means the whole thing. especially anything with a yankee logo on it
  4. hate him. hate roger. always will. i hope his weak arm falls off trying to throw out crisp on an inside the park home run!!!
  5. the pirates are much better than the royals. the bonds, bonilla, van slyke team was really not that long ago. they were always my favorite nl team. the royals havent sniffed the playoffs in all the time ive watched baseball.
  6. im with yeszir. clemens has manipulated every front office he has ever played for. hope theo isnt dumb enough to fall for his crybaby show.
  7. i will never eat those words. he took his big contract and sat on it. his last two years in boston were a joke and it was all on him. out of shape. on the dl. what was he like .500 his last two seasons. then he was asking for way too much for a .500 pitcher which is what he would have stayed had he not left boston. he couldnt stay motivated until somebody said he sucked. then he stuck it to us by actually getting in shape and pitching like he should have the whole time. i dont care if he wins 30 games next year he is still a gutless punk.
  8. i hate roger clemens. i hope he goes back to new york where he can retire a miserable lonely ass hole with no fans. derek lowe won more big playoff games than that piece of crap.
  9. i think bill simmons said it best. somewhere in new york a 5 year old kid is wondering if the yankees are going to win the WS in their lifetime.
  10. how many have you had post 2000?
  11. thank you optimist. at least you made me laugh to day. a couple extra thousand fans at a royals and blue jay game makes up for a 20 mil payroll and 50-112 record that those bottom feeders usually have. wow. this conversation is over.
  12. alright sir, we will leave the name calling out of it. lets see. a cap would make mabe 5 or 6 teams have to cut payroll therefore making them "worse" while the rest of the league 25 or so teams would get "better". making a more balanced competitive league. your problem is that you cant stand the thought of another team with a higher payroll than the new york spendees. (and you still havent won in 5 years with an obscene amount of more money being spent)
  13. nobody is being punished jackass. it would make mlb as a whole a much more entertaining product for all of its fans. i know you cant think outside of new york ass hole but there are baseball fans all over this country that would be even more so if the league was more competitive.
  14. this is coming from a red sox fan. i know you will never hear a yankee fan say there should be a salary cap but as a BASEBALL and sox fan i would love to see a minimum and maximum on salarys.
  15. the point is at some point the league will start dropping in popularity. even i (a sox fan) am sick of all the same teams every single year. let me guess the playoffs next year. sox, yanks, sox, (angels, a's, twins revolving door with those three. but thats pretty much the american league barring any major injuries. the blue jays and maybe Guardians will make some noise but i dont think they are there yet. same old s*** just another year. the only way to make a move is to spend money like the mets. at least in football and basketball you have to make intelligent signings and not just the most and ormost expensive.
