yeah it was nice. my brother knows Theo from college so I had that opportunity. he's a nice guy. he was actually real surprised I complimented him on his playing, he said he doesn't hear much of it.

What do you have against Sabermetrics? I (and the Sox GM) happen to put a lot of faith in those theories.

I like them but they are not always solid. The 2003 pre season VORP for all pitchers that was released had the one, the only, BK Kim as the 10th best pitcher in the league. As soon as that wonderful little saga with him ended I lost all faith in VORP and msot sabermetrics. The only relatively new stat that I like is OPS outside of that I wanna see the stuff that actually show's me how a guy produces.

That's why Millar drives me absolutely f***ing up the wall. I would LOVE to see Youkilis play first, because I believe he is a much more consistant baseball player offensively and defensively, and inconsistancies piss me off.

 

You know, this might sound stupid, but seeing Millar go on a 20 for 25 hitting spree pisses me off to no end, because you know directly before, and directly after he will be peppered with 0 for 20's. Inconsistancies make me very very mad.

DONT start with Renteria if you dont want people slamming Bellhorn, last time I checked Renteria has MUCH better stats, so don't start slamming Renteria OR Manny
