    I have a hard time believing that if you ahve Moreno, Carroll and Marte, you can get away with some holes. But, they didnt last year. Can we get all 3, cuz that would be amazing.

    From my standpoint , when you initially said rushed, I was ready to disagree because Im a water seeks its own level believer, and I think a lot of time - people tend to not want to blame prospects who they like so they blame organizational decisions - and let the prospect themself off the hook But then when you elaborated, and clarified that you werent necessarily saying that KC would have all these built in excuses going forward and you merely meant that he wasnt ready (as opposed to pointing to long term damage), I had no problem with you saying rushed. He may have stunk because he was rushed last year, but if he still stinks 3 years from now, it wont be becasue he was rushed at one point in his career. And if calling him up and giving him a chance a bit too early haunts him going forward because of like long term confidence issues, then the dude was too mentally soft to begin with (but I dont think thats going to be the case)

    Trading someone named Arias to the Twins feels weird. Wonder if he'd change his name like when we picked up a former Twin named David Arias.

    Both the injuries and the lack of arm (from a 6'3 dude) have the same thing in common. Bro is allergic to lifting weights. And Breslow called him out recently for it.

    Both years wasnt available when team needed him most. And he makes 18m. How much excess value can one really have over 18m when hes finished every single one of the last 6 years hurt.

    You should always weigh most recent season more. Yes, when a disparity exists between last season and 2 seasons ago, a player is more likely to perform according to his most recent season. But I agree that if he was 25, you would weight the 24 season even more.

    Sure, if they eat some $$. I dont want to allocate half our budget to sale. Need more than 20-25m for bats.

    Im not interested in sale at 18m. Im surprised he has positive value at all. Now at the deadline, when there is only like 8m remaining on the 18m, Im very interested (assuming hes healthy) Fits the budget better.

    Most likely to get injured in RF at fenway, but 3b might be second. Ball comes at you fast and theres a lot of diving around.

    sure. Paredes plays 3b and suarez plays 1b though. Hes too old to play 3b full season (my opinion). He can play there sometimes. Like when we had Turner. He played some 2b, 3b, but also played a lot of 1b and DH because your body just cant handle 150 games at 3b when you are over 35.

    Yes, but weighted for recency (which we should) and Schwarber looks much better. Not saying we should only loook at last year, but last year should carry more weight than 3 yrs ago re: expected future performance I really wanted Ozuna in a trade last offseason, and traded for him in my show franchise. He won back to back MVPs as a DH.

    exclude. Hes talking about wanting to keep duran, cedanne, abreu, RA in the lineup.

    I think its worth it for them to take that gamble. If he gets hurt, they only miss out on what his trade value would be if they traded him today, which is small. Because we're no longer subsidizing the contract. 18m is kind of a lot for him, IMO.

    Of this list only Tucker is in Scwharbers league , hitting wise. And I dont see that happening. Im interested in Paredes, but hes not a big enough bat.
