  1. Please do not read the above after a hearty lunch! Brutal!!!!!
  2. Does Grissom’s arrival make yorke trade bait!
  3. Rafaela’s time in Boston could be directly tied to O’Neil. When O’Neil goes on the DL, Rafaela is probably called up. Or if O’Neil is traded at the deadline, Rafaela is probably called up.
  4. Our starting outfield could project to be abreau in left: Duran in center and O’Neil in right! With yoshida and refsynder as spares. Rafeala starts the year in Worcester
  5. Can Whitlock hold up for 70 appearances a year out of the bullpen?
  6. Does janson start the year on the DL
  7. Houck needs to be a bullpen arm as well. But we do not have enough starters right now.
  8. It may seem pessimistic, but I am trying to be realistic I do think that yoshida has a huge second year leap! And I think abreau could be a huge addition But the dumpster fire of a rotation scares me a lot
  9. I got 70 wins max!
  10. One of the reporters had said the budget was reduced to 200 million this year. Have you heard any different?
  11. Seems to me ownership no longer wants to be year to year high payroll winners. Starting with cherrington, they want the gm’s to try to build something sustainable through the farm system, but ownership does not seem to understand that is a huge lengthy process and it is very difficult to stay competitive while building a sustainable farm system. Add in our complete inability to develop starting pitchers and you see why we roll through GM’s very quickly! I liked hang’em Chaim’s ability to find hitters. But he seemed to crack under the stress of trying to stay competitive. I like brez-slow’s trades so far. But seems to me, he has decided to completely forego winning to finish building the farm ownership appears to have put us on a 200 million dollar per year budget. This means the farm has to produce a lot of position players and bullpen arms because we need budget for the rotation! Right now in 2024 we are not there yet!
  12. Last year, we had the second worst defense in all of baseball and you are correct, we had major base running problems! Seems like we just improve in those two areas and we can get a couple extra wins this year!
  13. Just curious if you have your top 25 going into training camp last year. Seems like we added some talented prospects since last year.
  14. How many in total can we realistically trade at the deadline?
  15. Duran and O’Neil seem like trade targets along with gioletta, janson and Martin
  16. Will we move Duran to San Diego for a similar high A starter with mid rotation starter stuff???
  17. I am thinking rosier and Meidroth are the two position players from Worcester that get a chance to play for Boston this year!
  18. Does Campbell have better control than mata?
  19. You think the injury will change scheiber’s outlook going forward?
  20. Judging stuff on tape is always harder than seeing him live. Maybe I change my mind after I see him in person
  21. What did they see in Sandin that made them think this was a good trade ???? He reminds me of the college arm that looks good in A ball and flames out in double aa ball. If double aa hitters lay off the splitter (or cutter) he will walk more batters than winkleman
  22. One of the writers was speculating that the budget was reduced from 225 million to 200 million for 2024!
  23. Cora said nice things about slaten today. With an underlying theme that he has major control issues
  24. I saw him at Virginia and his throws to second were super impressive! I seem to remember closer to 3/4 than side arm
  25. I hope Martin stays. I liked his stuff last year. I do not know how he was successful, but he was.
