If bres-slow does happen to sign or trade for a decent starting pitcher, then our starting rotation goes from dreadful to mediocre?????

I assume that bladoff guy who reports this international stuff has some experience with projections. Until I see the kid with my own eyes, I trust very few writers opinions. And I am not saying I can judge talent, heart and desire in a prospect. I saw teel a lot in college and he did not impress me that much. Yet his numbers thus far as a pro look pretty good.

We offered imanaga two years, with a chance to earn another two years????? We are intent on going short years with pitchers, yet we have very little on the farm coming up to replace guys. We are not signing any highly ranked international arms. I am not sure I understand our long term pitching strategy????

Others say ascensio has great bat to ball skill, but not sure about power. Ie: rosier 2.0!

I doubt we have the financial juice to sign any high priced free agent starters, so that leaves the trade market. And we have to give value to get value. Are we prepared to move be or more of Mayer, Anthony, blies, or teel???

I think abreau is ready to be in Boston full time. Maybe it is better if rafeala starts the year at Worcester and comes up everytime O’Neill breaks down!!!! I would hope that by June abreau is our full time left fielder.

If anybody can explain the strategic plan over the past four years, I would love to hear their interpretation!!! I get the build up of the farm system!!! I get the over load of middle infielders as trade bait for pitchers!!! But the lack of defenders that can field? The playing players out position? The lack of starters and the rogues gallery of relievers???? I thought when hang’em Chaim found the trap door, we would begin to see done semblance of a strategy!!! I guess I still need help figuring out what the strategy is!!!!!

I agree! He and bleis are the best hitters I have seen with my own eyes since boegarts!!! I am not saying they are boegarts good, but have tremendous potential

There are very few top starting pitchers to hit free agency and all the whales fight over them! Most teams that have good young starting pitchers will demand serious talent on the trade market for it!!! The days of stealing a young Pedro are hard unless you have a lot of highly rated prospects

And what is the riskiest high school position to draft early in the draft???? Most teams do several in house mock drafts so their first options are off the board, they have an alternative plan.

If we sign a starter, we risk losing one of your top 13! Maybe bres-slow is working on a trade. Houck or Crawford and Duran and Valdez is a nice start. Yorke and Mayer are fine additions!! Hello cease?? Or hello Cabrera???? Ps: what happened to the barracini guy?

Offseason’s are so much easier when your organization can draft and develop quality starting pitching!!!!! I like the two guys bres-slow brought in with Bailey !!!
