    Mata still struggling with walks. 5.2 innings pitched 3 hits, 3 walks and 6 strikeouts. Zero runs allowed. Mata’s Era is currently 0.54! He should be ready for Portland by June 1, provided he gets the walks under control.

    Come July if our record 20 plus games under 500, do we become trade deadline sellers? Porcello, Pearce and Bradley will probably not have much, if any value. But, we could probably get decent prospects for Moreland and Martinez. And we could probably get very nice prospects for Betts!

    Dear mr. dombroski, I would appreciate the opportunity to replace chris sale as a starting pitcher for the Boston Red Sox. I am 100 percent positive that I can throw picture perfect beach balls to opposing hitters just as effectively as chris sale does, but I will do it at one tenth the amount you pay sale! And at the moment my shoulder is 100 percent healthy, unlike chris sale’s shoulder. Thank you in advance for considering my generous offer!

    I do not think that is a rumor. I think it is absolutely true. Signing is almost always contingent on passing a physical. I wonder if they did a full detail, mri, etc? Also, someone needs to interview dan Lavigne and ask him what he was seeing with our starters in the bullpen sessions for the month of March! I’m pretty sure even Ray Charles can see that our pitchers are really struggling to locate pitches.
