hey but we got the 14th best farm system out of 30 and behind every team in our division except the Blue Jays and have one ONLY 1 of our top prospects being a P.

For all this talk about how great the Red Sox farm system is the rankings that came out yesterday put them at #14 of 30 MLB teams. Right in the mushy middle with only 1 of their top 10 prospects being a P. Keep drafting them shortstops with our first rd pick.

there is ZERO chance they are signing Snell and maybe 20% that they sign Montgomery. Last place in the AL East in either case.

everyone will be happy to know that Sale has tossed 4.2 scoreless innings with 9 K's this spring in his 2 starts

none of those those 3 will move the needle to get the Sox past the mushy middle. better to just go with what we have and punt on the year.and draft another SS with our 1st rd pick

that will never happen. Even if we sign Montgomery now the Sox are still a last place team.

i could care less about ST results. they are basically 5-6 inning games followed by 3-4 innings of reserves

yeah cause the ST record counts for a lot once the season starts

they already have enough scrubs to fill in for him

they are NOT going to sign Snell at least until May 1st when the draft compensation is off the table. In reality all teams should wait for that date now. Why risk losing the draft picks for an extra 4-6 weeks of Snell? It is getting close to the point that neither he nor Montgomery would be ready to start the season if they don't sign soon.
