  1. I think we are going to end up being pleasantly surprised by more than just Tolle from our farm pitching in coming years. times have changed!
  2. It’s funny how you bashed Cora for not moving Rafaela up in the order based on this years stats, but the throw out the lefty splits for 2025 and bash the poster for using a too small sample size. you crack me up- literally!
  3. We will miss his bat for a longtime, but he’s willing to play “anywhere” with SF, so that’s where he belongs. (I hope they play him everywhere.)
  4. You didn’t answer my question, but I’ll answer yours: yes. i still wish he was our DH/1B man. I can dislike what someone did but still miss his contributions to the line-up. BTW, for some reason I can’t log in to this site from my cell phone, so this is moonslav’s alternate moniker.
  5. Agreed on all counts. Just stay healthy!
  6. There is a list of players we could ask them to choose from, but this would be a major get. I’d hate to give Duran and Arias plus Sandlin, or sub Garcia for Arias but maybe….
  7. Depends if the plan is to get the best offer no matter what, and what other teams offer. I think Duran is worth a lot. I think Cespedes plus two of the three arms I listed are valued, as well. Maybe offer all 3 or add Jordan or Bleis.
  8. Maybe they like Perales or Early enough to not demand Tolle. Maybe offer: Duran Cespedes 2 from Sandlin, Early, Perales
  9. At $21M, Buehler was a top 3 acquisition who has pitched like a bottom 3 on the staff
  10. Big win! It’s amazing how quickly Story got to over.700. He may even hit 25-30 dingers this season! whodathunk?
  11. I’m not sure mopping up on bad teams is going to change my mind about being sellers
  12. Indeed. More so with the Sox, if you look at our recent list of buys and sells.
  13. His defense looked suspect earlier in the season, but now he looks like his norm on D. i was hoping he could hit .750 this season, and maybe he will!
  14. If Buehler can come around, everything changes, IMO.
  15. Isn’t the brass talk still about beung buyers? that could easily turn into a major mistake. IMO, more risky than being full blown sellers.
  16. We needed another win like this one. keep it rolling!
  17. If we are going to be serious buyers, our top priorities should be: #2 SPer big bat- 2B or 1B solid RP’er
  18. I like him more than Wong, already.
  19. I’m thrilled with what I’ve see from Narvaez, so far.
  20. I’m glad Devers can tune all the turmoil out, when he’s up to bat.
  21. I agree with the ceiling but 4 guys on the IL is the low floor.
  22. I’ve said it might be equal or better, but it is not better on paper. We have lots of ifs.
  23. So, you referenced 2 bad deals and that makes any disagreement a debate stopper? well, I failed to mention it. You failed to mention that Fried is more dependable than Sandoval and Buehler, so does that mean I should say there is no point in conversing? I never wanted Snell for the same reasons. Why bring him up when I mention being dependable.
