    Gotta feel like going into this game, it feels like the biggest game of the year, at least until tomorrow.

    There is too much money lost by not going to 8. It’s pretty sad that 8 of 15 make it after a 162 game schedule. We could easily see 1-3 losing teams in each league make it. If they expand to 32 teams then it makes a tiny bit more acceptable, but it is what it is: money, money, money!!!

    We probably tried to trade him, but nobody offered more than his value to a team with a question mark at 2B, if Mayer and Story can’t stay healthy for 140+ games each,

    No. We trade Duran for a gross overpay of prospects, then grossly overpay to get Keller or Ryan or even M Kelly.

    It was a great trade and extension. Teel is an unknown.

    Exactly wrong. Two trades make us a top 1 or 2 AL team, easily. (1 or 2 more than they make.)

    The only key player I see us trading is an OFer perhaps a three way deal, hopefully for pitching. i do t consider DHam, Grissom, Toro or some of our pen arms “key.”

    They’ve given several others a look over him. He did get a chance or two earlier in the season.

    With Rafaela at 2B we don’t really have a need to trade an OFer, but if Mayer returns, we better bench or dump Yoshida. if the plan is to keep playing Mada, we should trade an OFer.

    Trading for a #5 SPer is something I never support.
